REPORTED TO THE CALIFORNIA STATE BAR. ALL VICTIMS SHOULD DO THE SAME THING. AND CONTACT THE ORANGE COUNTY DISTRICT ATTORNEY'S OFFICE. May victims. disbarment is NOT enough. She tortured people's lives from a position of trust. She stole money without doing the work. Her lack of work resulted in clients losing hundreds of thousands of dollars and has created great pain and suffering.

Brenda Mc Cune is unethical , she made my simple divorce into a 2 long year process , held on to my money in the bank and would not release it unless I gave her 2,000 dollars . She has made my life hell , was not looking for my best interest. Now guess what she is no where to be found her Phone number listed is a new attorney and her website belongs to go daddy .What a huge mistake I made by trusting her ! SHE IS SUSPENDED !

One of the worst choices of my life was hiring this lady. She did not have my best interest at heart. I reported her to the California State Bar and they are actively pursing the issues. Her law license is officially suspended. There are several investigations and everything is public record. My brother has a friend that knows her and she is still servicing clients on the side without a valid license to make money.

prolonged divorce, late for court, did not keep me posted. opposing counsel did all the work.the last 3 years have been wasted. trying to fire her but she has disappeared. owes me the balance of my retainer to boot! i made a horrible choice.

If you are shopping for an attorney for a domestic issue this attorney should be avoided at all cost. I hired her to handle my divorce which had child support issues for children of varying ages, there was also domestic abuse concerns. When I signed with her she promised the moon. The reality was a few weeks into the retainer, she was not returning calls, I got the run around from her staff, her paperwork was sloppy and she had headaches constantly. It was a really strange experience and about mid through my second month I let her go. When I asked for my final billing there was a lot of avoidance and delay, when I got my bill she charged me after I fired her and she overbilled me for work that she didn't do. I got a small amount of my retainer back but what she did was unethical. I hope you avoid the same mistake I made. Good luck.

Absolutely awful attorney. Operates on questionable ethics. Overbills. Does not return phone calls. Very sloppy work. I do not recommend her.
