Communication is key in any relationship. Mr. Kelly is very poor in this area, as well as others. However, his billing dept. does a great job of keeping me up to date. I never felt that he had my best interest in mind. He was very defensive, and quick to blame the opposing lawyer. I now know that he too was to blame. If the opposing lawyer was truly not responding according to protocol, then my lawyer should have requested higher authority action. This demonstrates poor work quality. Knowledgeable,yes,but we still went in a complete emotional circle, ending where we started, and I still came out on bottom. I made 2 trips(500 miles 1 way),to take care of situations that Mr. Kelly dropped the ball on. It was a very simple property case. Mr. Kelly was not capable of closing the deal in an adequate amount of time. This leads me to conclude that Mr. Kelly is simply more interested in the paper that fills his pockets, more so than the paper that brings his clients a piece of mind.
