this lawyer would not help to get the surgery that the insurance company should of paid for. I was told to go get my own health ins.and get the surgery done. I told him I didn't want to settle he slid the stipulation paperwork across his desk and said it "is tax free money" I'm not in this for the money I just want to be fixed so I can go back to my job, and live without pain

Worker's Comp is not for the employee any more but for the employer. He made it so the employer won. There was no doubt that the injury occurred at work. This lawyer was only interested in settling as fast as possible and for very little money, and then the stipulations for later medical compensation was not honored. He should have known this would happen and he did not worry about what would happen to the employee years down the line, even though that is what we went to him for in the first place. Very incompetent lawyer.
