OPT FOR A PUBLIC DEFENDER!!
I hired Mike Walzel to visit with an inmate once per week. The facility is a few miles from his office.
Although I provided a retainer up front, Mike hounded me for additional funds the first week- even though he hadn't used up the initial retainer.
I obliged and provided Mike with additional funds. I repeatedly asked for a retainer balance which was never provided.
THEN HE DISAPPEARED FOR A MONTH.
Mike Walzel didn't return phone calls, emails or text messages and obviously didn't make the visits we agreed to.
My ask was simple- because i'm several hours away and his office is only minutes away,, please visit my associate once per week.
Mike visited 3 times in 3 weeks and although we agreed to $150/hr rate, The $3500 retainer miraculously disappeared.
Dont' waste your money. If Walzel Law Firm is your only option, i'd opt for a public defender instead.

I would never use this attorney - unless you have an over abundance of time to waste and money to burn. He is a sheister with a capital SHEIST!!! Run the other way!!!
