This guy is a joke. He may have a law degree but he forgot that it comes with an oath to actually represent your client. Mention his name to other attorneys in this county and you get a polite chuckle. A Children's services representative even laughed and said "I'm sorry" when I mentioned he was my lawyer. He agreed to file divorce papers and get custody of my kids for a flat fee of $2,600. He did nothing, I even told him to forget about the divorce case later. Because of what he did and did not do, I erroneously owe over 30K in back support, have no visitation rights (which I had to inform him was illegal), and to have the damage he did corrected, I have to have my case re-worked in 2 other states before N.C. will correct Mr. Fulcher's mistakes. To top it off, he flat out told me lies and I even found myself having to advise him on what the laws were. When finally confronted on the damage he done, he asked for another $6K to work on the case, despite the fact he did nothing.

This attorney agreed to file for custody of my kids and file for divorce for a flat fee of $2500. In a period of 4 years, he failed to file a single paper for either one, much less get a hearing. When I went to the Bar Assoc. about him, he then said I owed him $6500 to continue this case, even though he no longer handles domestic cases. I had to provide him with legal information on a regular basis and even had to coach him in the middle of a hearing. He failed to correct my child support "arrears" of $36k, that the Judge even stated was incorrect in court. I've never got even a portion of my retainer back. If you call other attorneys in the area they chuckle when you mention his name. One of his relatives who works for the state actually laughed at me and said "...I'm sorry" when I told them he represented me. You've got better odds by representing yourself. It's a lot cheaper, and less frustrating.
