My husband and I just hired Diane Modica on Oct. 25th, 2013 because during our initial phone call she said that she would give us "clear steps on how to remedy our situation." She promised that she knew everything about this process, and when we met with her in the office she would tell us our options and advise on how to proceed. You can imagine how surprised we were when she didn't provide us with 1 single option or ANY advice on how to proceed after we paid her $2000 retainer.
On Oct. 30th I asked her to give me the invoice for our services up to this date and she gave me a $1000 bill. Diane acted completely unprofessional.
On Nov 1st I fired her. We asked her to return our $1000 back for the reasons stated above. She was very arrogant, said she'll mail an invoice over the $2000 retainer. I said that she already provided us invoice and she argued that this was "not the full amount."
We received invoice and a check for a meager $125, which is a fraction of what she owed us ba
