I entered into a VERY ugly custody case, and Mike came recommended to me. From day 1 of this nightmare Mike has had my back day, night, whenever / wherever. It became clear to me within the first 30 days that EVERYONE who was ANYONE knew Mike McMain. He is highly respected at the court, and also among everyone else who I have been in contact with ( besides opposing counsel of course ). There is no doubt in my mind that even though my case isn't finished yet I would be no where near where I am with any other attorney. Some people may say he is expensive - I say he should charge whatever he wants because he is worth WAY more than any dollar figure I can throw out there. If you need the Absolute Best - you just found him.

Michael is always respectful of your needs and desires of any law issue. He is always upfront, honest and loyal to his clients. When I have to use Michael, I can rest assure that it will be done to the best of his ability. You can trust him 100% to represent you/and or your family better than anyone else. I wouldn't let anyone else represent myself or my family.

After having several lawyers from well-known law firms in Cincinnati, I chose Mr. McMain to represent me in a particularly challenging divorce. He did a fantastic job and handled the case quite well. He is incredibly knowledgeable about the law but more importantly, knows all of the key players in Boone County. After discovering an extremely important case in the fact, he used this information to settle the case within 2.5 hours of starting of mediation. I would recommend him to anyone and he will be doing my prenuptial agreement in the future!

As most divorces can be extremely difficult and stressful, Mine was so difficult that someone once referred it to the OJ Simpson case. I had to visit my physician for medication. My physician recommended that I fire my current attorney and hire Mike McMain. I did exactly that. Not only, did Mike make me feel like I was the only client he had, but he defended me at my 3 hour trail like I was his family member. He kept me calm, focused and confident. He heard every word I said. I have read the other reviews and the comments on his fees. My dignity, my pride, my life does not have a price tag on it. Not only did he end my divorce hearing with everything fair. He walked me out of that court room with my dignity respect, self-worth and pride that my ex stole from me, and he did it effortlessly! I was referred to Michael McMain by several people who had been through the process and all had positive outcomes. He did a great job for me and my children. He was very professional and it was obvious to me that he is highly respected at the Courthouse. Mr. McMain is who you want fighting for you when the going gets tough. Worth every penny I've ever spent. I'm a single mother who was up against a complete bully with plenty of money. He knows the law very well and shut down all of the drama and put out every fire almost instantly. I felt protected with him on my side and ultimately I was. He knew what was going to happen before it happened, he made precise recommendations, decisions and was always 5 steps ahead. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him, hands down a class act!

I do not recommend MM. He will have you at $13,000 and then tell you that he really hasn't had time for your case. He will compromise you if your spouse has a better offer on the table. He met with my ex and appraisers behind my back and then steered me to mediation. He doesn't care about you its about $$$$$.

Mike handled my divorce and came recommended by many people. He did an outstanding job and he knows the law. If you want an attorney that stays involved in your case – he is the one to hire. Mike rarely passed my case off to someone else. All email correspondence came from Mike. Unlike my husband’s attorney most email correspondence came from someone else. Mike is only has good as he can be if he has documentation. If you want him to fight then you have to do work, as well. I had a little trouble with Mike in the beginning but that was mainly my fault. I went in expecting him to get me everything from our marriage. But once I understood where Mike was coming from then the working relationship got better. Mike is all about the law and what he would win in court. Don’t expect anything different because it is about the law. Yes, Mike can be expensive but I would highly recommend him. You get what you pay for. Also, he has a great sense of humor and a nice person.

In the beginning I was skeptical of Mike, even though he came recommended. He was my 3rd attorney in my custody case in less then 5 months( fired the rest) I gave him ALL of my important information, bc the attorney is only as good as his ability and the info you are able to give to him. I paid the retainer fee and 125% more since we began 4 months ago. That's over 7k. My child deserves a fair shot at life and Mike is helping him get that! Mike is very diligent, thorough, and tough when he needs to be! Doesn't feed you a bunch of nonsense. I am very happy I have Mike, he has represented me better in 4 mos. than five other attorneys in 5 years. My ex is a complete bully and told me I was a fool for taking him to court, but with Mike he is eating those words plus more. He will be on my Christmas list for sure.

He is not even my lawyer, He is my ex-husbands and was court ordered to have a paper drawn up for retirement by August 2011 and it is December 2011 and he still hasn't done it! Can't a lawyer get in trouble for that? Court Ordered? Hmmmmm! Have to keep following up with him.I wouldn't recommend him to anyone!

Mike did an extremely effective job of representing me in my divorce case. He fought for me throughout the process and got me what I deserved from our marriage. My husband was not nice through the process and without Mike my case would have been a mess. I highly recommend him to anybody who wishes to be well represented in a divorce case. He claims to be the best, but he quit just like the rest. He may have practiced law for a long time, but be advised, when your finances dwindle, he loses interest...QUICKLY. I would NEVER recommend this lawyer!

Mike regularly dropped the ball, I had to spend every free moment following up with his "work" if I had it to do again, I would NOT choose this attorney. For the rate he asks you can do MUCH better.
