The bad reviews don't lie. I wonder who wrote the good ones because My experience was similar. Robert was ok but very tough to reach and meet with. His paralegal was both lazy and intimidating. She wanted my brother to do all of Her paperwork! She filed in the wrong case and gave me an attitude several times when I just wanted her to do the job we paid their office for. Sometimes spouses don't make the best employees. The entitlement is disgraceful.

Save yourself the headache of dealing with this attorney! His office staff is rude, unprofessional, and makes mistakes constantly. He is impossible to get a hold of and very rude as well. Everything is fine until he has your money, from then on he drags your case through the court system and makes one excuse after another as to why it's taking so long. I'm contacting the Florida Bar Association regarding the way he handled my case. Google his name and do your research before you hire him, I wish I would have. Working with him has been one of the worst experiences of my life!

Worked really hard to prevent my horrible ex from getting her relocation. She never would allow me a relationship with my child and when she knew she was about to get in trouble she wanted to run with my son. Mr. Stepniak got me 15 day a month with my son and my child support lowered and the Judge handed her and her attorneys butts in court. Yeah it coast me 4,000.00 but was worth every penny. His staff returned all calls or emails within 24 hours, even when I could hear how crazy it was. Hes a sown to earth attorney and can take all of the stress off any complicated matter. His office treated me like family.

He is the absolute worst attorney ever. Took my retainer and backed out on New Year's Eve had to be in court on the 2nd with no time to find another. Had to go to court myself and get an extension, which was a blessing. He is the laughing stock of all the other lawyers in the county. His employees write all the good posts about this man. Do not use him. Anyone is better than him.

The man did an excellent job getting me what was due in my divorce. I didn't know I could get half of what I did. Then when my ex played hard ball, Mr Stepniak played harder. He even embarrassed my Ex Attorney in Court. I got half all of all of the assets, and alimony. At times he is hard to get a hold of, but I would leave a message and he always responded. His staff was knowledgeable, and friendly, they kept me up to date the whole time. If I ever get Divorced again or have any other issues, this is the man I will be going back to.

I should have gone with gut feeling about this guy. He is a smooth talker and he really thinks he is doing a good job. He does not return phone calls, he has his office people respond to any emails you may send. If you need to talk to him his staff always says he is on the phone or in court. When they do set up a call they tell you to call him on his cell, but he never answers. It goes to voice mail and he never returns your messages. He delayed my alimony hearing for over two years, and when we finally got to court he spoke with my ex-wife lawyer and then called me in to a conference room. I was trying to get a decrease in my alimony payments sincr I was unemployed for a year. I finally got a job, but it paid less than the one I had when i made the alimony agreement. Bottom line i did not get a reduction, but through his "efforts" my alimony payment increased. STAY AWAY FROM THIS FRAUD. The best part is he tried to charge my $30,000.00 for his "efforts"

Robert Stepniak seemed to be the only lawyer who didn't overcharge me for simple speeding violations. He went to court, represented me and it was over before it begun. I appreciated how fast he got this tossed from court. He charged me a fair price -- which many other local attorneys would not do. So, if you need a proficient affordable attorney who knows what he's doing go see Robert Stepniak.

My mother worked with Robert Stepniak on her divorce, and the results were impressive. My stepfather tried to make the process as difficult as possible, and he was waging a dirty war for the custody of my younger sister. We were fortunate that Robert was so dedicated to finding a favorable outcome. He gave the case a lot of personal attention, he communicated with us regularly and assured us that he would give the case his all. My mom got full custody and a clean divorce because of Robert's efforts. Thank you!

Robert Stepniak took my money, $3500 and did not 1 days work for it! He did not call me one time in the month before trial! He backed out 2 business days before trial and kept my entire retainer!!! He is all talk and absolutely no work! He is a manipulator and should not be practicing any type of law whatsoever. He is unethical and any other person that takes your money for a service and then doesn't provide it would be charged with theft! Beware! Do not part with your money to this man ( I use that term loosely) . Shame on him! The person he hurt in this case was a little boy! Don't trust him! I hope this post helps someone to make a decision I did not! Good luck and look elsewhere! (The Florida bar will hear about this one and from what I have read this will not be the first time Mr. Stepniak was reported.)

Robert Stepniak is a great attorney. He won a contempt of court case for me today. My sons's father tried to say he didn't make that much money to pay the amount that was court ordered,but Mr. Stepniak asked the right questions, like how much do you make a month?,How much is your rent? Do you own a truck? Do you have cable? Well the numbers didn't add up for my son's dad. Thankyou, Thankyou Mr. Stepniak, without you and the wonderful job you did, winning this case for us, I will tell everyone what a great job you did. I would certainly use Mr. Stepniak again in the future.

Bob is the best family law lawyer out there he handled my case in a timely manner his staff was on top of my case at all times and I would highly recommend him to anyone in need of legal services, both him and his law partner Jane Park are intelligent, professional, and the best in their fields. I was very pleased with their staff and ability to handle my case, they did a great job don't know what some of you are referring to as "lazy or hiding behind secretaries" you must be mistaken. Bob is an awesome attorney who will go above and beyond to get the job done and help you in your time of need. All my paperwork was filed on time and he wasnt afraid to go toe to toe with the opposing council, this man is a great attorney. THERE ISNT A HIGH ENOUGH RATING SYSTEM FOR A ATTORNEY LIKE HIM!! I had a excellent experience with Stepniak and Park Law they handled my case and all the details quickly and thoroughly, Bob and his staff were always were available to kept things smooth on my end throughout the duration of my case. Too bad there's not a zero rating. Agree with all the rest of the ratings on here. This man is rude, quick to take your money, does not communicate once he gets your money, leaves his secretaries to run interference for him. He does not fight for the client who hired him. He sure talks a good talk before he gets your money then does not follow through. However you can GET YOUR MONEY BACK BY FILING A BAR COMPLAINT WITH THE STATE OF FLORIDA BAR ASSOCIATION. All Florida Attys who are members of the FL Bar Assn. have to pay annual dues, and a portion of that goes into a trust fund to reimburse clients who get snowed into very bad situations like this. And ironically the magic number of the amount that the FL Bar association will reimburse is $2500.00. Just google "Florida Bar Association file complaint" and it walks you through it all. Simply tell the truth. We've been told so many lies by him and his staff that he cannot even remember what he's said to us. But we do :)

Do not hire Bob Stepniak. I wish that I had read the previous posts on this website before I made the mistake of hiring him. He talks a good game until he has your money and then your case is over. He is rude, condescending, and unresponsive to phone calls, emails etc. He is scared of opposing other attorneys. He spends lots of time talking about himself rather than addressing your case. He hides behind his bullish paralegal. He will come up with subsequent fees to what you previously agree to. I have had to hire another attorney to finish what he was too scared to fight for.

This guy is one reason why lawyers have such a bad reputation. I hired Mr Stepniak in January 2009 for child support modification. After 19 months, he has accomplished absolutely nothing! Robert will NOT fight for your rights as his website implies... His excuse? the opposing attorney will not agree to our proposals... Go figure! what about the law? what about taking it to court? Forget it! Robert is even afraid of requesting a mediation hearing. Unless your opponent will fold immediately with a phone call, you can kiss your money goodbye if you hire this lawyer. For me that is $4000 gone. Now he won't even return my phone calls for the last couple months. 4 or 5 attempts per week for over 3 months and he has never been available or returned my call. What is he doing now? Hiding in a corner afraid of his own shadow?? Or is he out screwing over his next victim... Don't let it be you!! PS He talks a good game, but once he has your money.....

he was rude to me and very lazy. my ex was suing me for custody of my son and he did not even try to get an order for support even once in a over a year period then he wanted me to settle for 50 50 custody because he said i might lose
