Don deserves a 6 in every category becuase 5"Good" doesnt do him justice.I was recently wrongfully charged with the very serious charge of Aggrevated Battery and after wasting $6,000 with another lawyer that wasnt doing anything but encouraging an innocent man to take a plea;I luckily and wisely hired Don to take over my case.Immediately I felt alot more confident as Don agreed with me and didnt believe I should take any plea.He was completely understanding of my self defense plea and seemed totally confident that I wouldnt be convicted of any crime.Almost immediately the nonsensical random breathalyzer tests as a condition of my pretrial release were halted.Then after 2 months of Don's dedicated service the state's attorney dropped all charges against me.Don thoroughly understood my case and asked the right questions during depositions to prove without a doubt to the prosecution that I was defending myself and their client was lying,thus leaving them no choice but to drop the case.

I have known Don personally and professionally for the past ten years. I have referred at least fifty cases to Mr. Pumphrey during that time. I have assisted Mr. Pumphrey as a consultant in over seventy-five cases. Based on my experience and observation Mr. Pumphrey always takes a personal interest, an agressive stance, realistic approach to all of the cases in the best interest of his clients. He is very generous in offering his services pro bono too many college students who he has represented. He and I are a member of the same national fraternity and he speaks to the chapter at Florida State University in effort to acquaint the brothers with current climate of the law and their potential too make a serious legal mistake in college that could damage them the rest of their lives. He is likely overall the best lawyer in Florida.

Having known Don as a professional acquaintance for several years, I was aware of his outstanding reputation in the legal community. When I needed his assistance for a criminal arrest for my daughter, my respect for him rose to a new level. He was diligent, honest, professional, communicative, efficient and was able to have the case dismissed within a matter of weeks with no criminal consequences. His staff is equally as impressive. I would recommend Don without hesitation to anyone in need of criminal defense.

Excellent. I heard through word of mouth he was the best in North Florida, the case was dismissed. Very service oriented, phenonimal staff who was very helpful when Mr. Pumphrey was not available. Always returned my phone calls.
