Dan was working with my soon to be ex wife. She and I had both agreed our marriage was over and there was no reason to have a lengthy or expensive divorce. She actually started working with Dan's partner, Robin Taub, who claims to be a mediator. As soon as they saw my ex's entitled ways and heard her made up stories, Dan saw dollar signs took over the case and was the new point of contact. My ex is quite the narcissist and allowed me to read emails that Dan had sent to her where he claimed that he would like to take a baseball bat to my head. Dan continued to draw out what should have been an easy divorce and then tried to pin me with the legal costs (the entire time the bill was running he was telling her don't worry about the bill, we will fix his a** - your ex husband will have to pay me). Fortunately I had a very good attorney and did not have to pay that small fortune. T had proposed before getting attorney involved, she was just less 100k+ due to his ridiculous billing.

I had a good experience with Dan and his firm. He helped me with visitation issues. As a family law practitioner in Florida, I understand that family law cases can be costly. Dan worked diligently on my case. Unfortunately, my son's mother was extremely unreasonable and refused to agree with our reasonable requests, which forced us to go to a very expensive trial. In the end, Dan and I obtained the agreement at trial that we had been requesting all along, i.e., we won on all issues. I am happy with the outcome. I am still consistently paying my monthly bill to the firm, but they have not pressured me. My biggest advice to anyone seeking to hire their firm is make sure you can afford it. The firm was probably a bit outside my price range, but in the end they got the job done and I have a good schedule with my son. You can't put price tag on your relationship with your child.

I retained Paradiso, Taub, Sinay, Owel and Kostecka and was assigned to D. Owel to handle my divorce and had endless billing problems with this attorney. I repeatedly instructed him to stop billing me for services that I felt were needless and he continued anyway. Most of these ran up his bill with little or no benefit to me. In the end, he charged me over $100,000 for divorce-related services and I submitted a complaint to the Grievance Commission.
