My family and I hired Mr. Kabik while he worked at the Shulman Rogers firm. He told us he did $10,000 worth of work (time and submitting forms). We agreed in writing to follow him when he left the firm. We were then unable to get any response from him until we called the Bar Association to ensure we had his contact information. They got in contact with him and he contacted us within one day via WhatsApp, exchanged a few messages that did not address our concerns and we have never heard back from him again. We then had the idea to call the Immigration office in Washington DC to ask them where Mr. Kabik had left off in the process so that we could continue on our own. They have NOTHING on their records from Mr. Kabik. I’m not sure what he did with our $10,000 but I hope he knows how badly he hurt my family. We struggle financially and could have used that money to feed and house our family. My hope is that this review will save other families from experiencing this with Mr. Kabik
