The initial with Rosalyn was good, but when things got complicated, Rosalyn made many errors which costed me a lot of money. She shrugged off her errors like it was nothing and then made me pay for the corrections. You should know that Rosalyn Manthorpe gave me incorrect information and when I asked her why, her answer was that she was not a litigation lawyer. She should not have answered my question in the first place if she did not know the answer. Be careful about the information she gives you. She wants to give advice in areas that are not her expertise and in doing so, it costs you money and she may be incorrect. She insisted that she needed to review all purchase offers on my mother's house. This is not correct. This is her way of racking up your lawyers bill. You do not, under any circumstance, need to have the lawyer do the realtor's job! Manthorpe was a lousy communicator, abrupt, inconsistent and unfriendly. High staff-turnover as well. I DO NOT RECOMMEND MANTHORPE!!

Just brutal. Terrible communication. SLOW as molasses. She should retire, or be investigated by the Lawyers union. My free advice: find another lawyer.

Terrible attitude. I actually think she's just been at it too long. She has no patience at all and explains things very poorly. I would not go back to her for anything.

Rosalyn, helped with all the difficulties dealing with the death of our mother and set things up for my father. She made every thing work smooth and straight forward when our father passed 4 years later. She took time to explain and answer all our many questions. Would and have recommeded her.

Stated her mandate was to make sure families maintained a good relationship through the division of an estate then provided no assistance when we had difficulty communicating. Set rules of property division which were arbitrary and not helpful.
