Miscommunication and not receiving a copy of my personal files have been major issues for me. With the statute of limitations for my case expiring on 9/6/25 I am becoming increasingly concerned. As of now, I haven't received any updates from Mr. Gilman or his staff. My last communication with him was in 4/24, & I’m struggling to understand why there has been a lack of communication, especially since this is such an urgent matter.
Additionally, I haven't received an update on my lien situation with the physical therapist he referred me to, nor the lien from the MRI the physical therapist referred me to. I also don't have any clarity on how long it will take for my case to settle, nor what the potential settlement amount may be. I haven't been able to discuss my condition with Mr. Gilman or his staff, and despite multiple requests, they still haven't received my medical records or provided a copy of my personal files.
I’ve been disappointed by the lack of attention to these concerns.

I cannot understand how anybody could give this attorney a bad rating. My case was handled by another atty and dismissed. Scott Gilman appealed the dismissal for me, got the case reinstated and settled it for over $300,000.00. He's the best!

What a great lawyer. This guy came highly recommended by another attorney and he really delivered. He is a goto guy for other lawyers because he not only knows the law, he commands respect from his opponents in court. I highly, highly recommend him!

I have nothing but great things to say about Mr. Gilman. He took over my case from another lawyer who couldn't get anything done and was afraid to go to court. Mr. Gilman fought for me and got me a GREAT settlement. Definitely use this guy!

I hired Mr. Gilman about 3 years ago to pursue a case against a Doctor. Initially, I had problems getting him to answer my calls. Mr. Gilman promised to make an attempt to be more consistent in answering my inquiries. To date it has been more than a year since I've heard from Mr. Gilman although I've tried numerous time to reach him at the numbers he'd given to me for just that purpose, and today I find that his NY office phone has been disconnected with now forward number. Although I know first hand, that Mr. Gilman does not keep in touch with this client I know nothing else with regard to the other 4 categories listed. I've rated him bad in all categories as you have to rate each category.
