Anne is smart and talented. Unfortunately, she is also full of unconscious bias and discrimination if you exist outside of Christian, heteronormative cultural norms. If you are a member of the LGBTQ community, be very cautious in how you engage with her. She believes LGBTQ people are destructive to children. Meanwhile, she also openly believes she is accepting of the LGBTQ community. Her thinking is archaic - she explains her LGBTQ acceptance in the context of knowing "a trans person;" this is an inappropriate worldview - akin to "I'm not racist, I have a black friend. Anne could benefit from anti-bias training and specifically LGBTQ ally training. If she is going to continue to represent clients who fall outside of "traditional" social norms, she should seek out development opportunities to better herself. As it stands, her thinking is offensive, inappropriate, unprofessional, and potentially traumatic to the kids she represents. I plan to contact the ACLU and State Bar regarding Anne

Anne has represented me for almost 10 yrs. and I have found her to be a caring, God fearing woman. Over the years, whether she refreshes herself on my case history or remembers me personally I feel that we reconnect as old friends every time I’ve needed her.
Now my divorce experience was dependent on many factors one of which was that I was the husband/am the father seeking the divorce but he bottom line is when the Chess match is over you either have captured the Queen or become her victim. Anne represents a lot of Clients and I believe tries to give each and every one of them the attention they deserve, but there is NO One that is 100% successful at what they do.
I have given my trust to Anne and in my case whether I believe the outcome is fair or not. I do believe she has represented to the best of her Professional ability.
For those on the bubble, sit down with Anne to determine if she is right for you.
Good Luck and God Bless

She was an awful attorney representing my kids in a divorce case. She was lazy, and did not listen to them at all. She was opinionated and that seemed to mostly consisting of hating men. She was demeaning and condescending to both parents involved but especially the father. Her work ethic is awful, really none at all. She met with the kids two times in three years of proceedings and did not present one thing from their perspective in court. She literally stole thousands of dollars for doing nothing at all but listen to the mother's complaints and lecture the father. Fortunately the judge made up her own mind and made a fair decision despite Anne Laynor's attempts to sabotage the proceedings. When Anne did not get her way, she threw temper tantrums and walked at in fits of anger. She is not a professional lawyer. I would never recommend her to anyone.

Anne Laynor's performance is very prejudicial. She shows her bias in her work and she is extremely manipulative in rewording what you have to say. DO NOT, DO NOT meet with her unless you can record the conversation or unless you have someone else present. No court should appoint her as a BIA. Quite the contrary, she is a SIA, a Self Interest Attorney.
