I was referred to Mr Marshall by The Law Society, and they had no business doing so. He was charming at first, reassuring me of his experience with cases similar to mine. It became evident that he was actually practicing way out of his knowledge base and he gave me incorrect legal advice. Never did he fail to charge me despite being haughty, evasive and distracted by the ‘big cases’ he told me he was working on. It took several appointments before he managed to comprehend the particulars of my case at all. Mr Marshall cost me a small fortune for wrong advice, leaving me no choice but to ultimately defend myself when I had no money left. I never received so much as an apology from him for his major mistake and his associate was once again on the phone to me not long after I got home requesting a further retainer. Unbelievable gall. Do NOT hire Mr Paul Marshall. Incompetent and a wolf in sheep’s clothing.

Paul has gone above and beyond for me through a very confusing inheritance matter. He has come up against many roadblocks during this procedure but has seemed to get over them. Always communicates with me and keeps me up to date regarding all matters big and small. I would highly recommend him and would use him again if I should need too.

I was worried about what has been said about Mr. Marshall but when I called and he offered me very reasonable rates, I decided to hire him, and I am glad I did. Mr. Marshall was always very professional with me. He explained all options available to me and most importantly, how much each of those possibilities would end up costing. He communicated with me in a manner that was always respectful of my need to have a clear understanding of my choices. That was very helpful; it allowed me to see how to solve my legal problem in different ways. Without his assistance, I would not have known of any other way
but to spend more time and money than necessary. I was impressed with Mr.
Marshall’s knowledge, skill, and ability to communicate. Mr. Marshall is a very good lawyer. My experience with him was very positive.

An absolute nightmare. Talked condescendingly to me. Insulted me. Acted like a bully. Doesn't get his dates right and you have to correct him. Says he will have something done in a couple of weeks and a month later hasn't done a thing and needs to be reminded what he was supposed to do. While doing this he always sounded angry with me even though I was only ever polite to him while he is the one who screwed up. Rude and obnoxious every time I talked to him. Complimentary initial consultation consisted of him calling me on his cell and speaking to me for about three minutes while sounding distracted as he was driving his car.In the end nothing was done on this simple matter I had to deal with.

I read some of the comments on this page before I had my first appointment with Paul Marshall. Paul knows how to ask pertinent questions from the start,treated me with courtesy, and was fair in his billings. Although he changed a couple of my appointments because he was caught up in court, knowing that he goes to court and knows how to prepare a case made me feel comfortable with the advice he gave me about why I should settle my case. I would recommend this lawyer and take the criticisms below with a grain of salt. Some people are never happy. That's their fault, not their lawyers. People who have problems need lawyers. Get real people, your lawyer can't fix all the messes you've made in your life!!

I have known and utilized Mr. Marshall a number of times over the course of about 13 years. Both in personal and business related matters. He has always guided me through the murky legal wranglings I have often dropped myself into with the utmost care. I have never found myself in a negative position from Paul's legal advice or guidance and have recommended him with success to friends and family. Thank you Paul & Nick for your legal expertise!

P. Marshall is a poor excuse for a lawyer. He is good, however, at counting the minutes, hours and adding to them so he can charge up a high bill. He is poor at communicating with you and providing advise to you. He would ask me what I wanted to do. If I knew, would I need to hire him??? I hope he reads this and everyone else, because he does not deserve to be practicing law.

Mr. Marshall, I wanted to send a quick note to express my appreciation for your tenacity and your professional expertise in the court today. The day could have had a very different outcome if not for the effort and work you put into getting a result. Your clear and cordial manner to the crown and judge resulted in them wanting to assist me in my journey to establish my good name again. The judge was quite kind to me and for this, I am grateful to you. Thank you for all you have done and are currently doing to extract me from the legal quagmire that I have been wading through for the last few years. I actually have some hope again.

Another horrible lawyer. I wish these rating pages were around a long time ago. They would eliminate these money sucking leaches who just don't care about anyting but driving up the billing. If you want to settle something in a rational grownup way, Choose another lawyer ar this is not the one for you. There were disclosure problems, empty threats attempts to bully and innappropriate comments outside of court. Wasted discovery with just delay after delay with no intention of solving anything. If there was a case for malicious prosecution he would be the main driving force. There are many other solid options for people to use to solve their problems without the need of this lawyers services. Run elsewhere.

The firm was not sensitive to my issues. They lacked general professionalism at times often cancelling meetings with little notice. They also showed a general lack of concern in the handling of my problems.
