Worst lawyer ever, but what can you expect from a person who got her law degree from the University of Moncton!!! I didn’t even know there was a university in Moncton until my friend hired her to handle her divorce. I advised her against hiring Sophie, but she went ahead anyway and ended up getting ripped off big time!!!

Sophie is an administrator. She will tell you what the law says about divorce and happily divide up your assets and assure you that you are "getting off good." No tactics at all. She will pressure you to settle. Sometimes it is unclear whose side she is on. Charges 250-300 per hour. She has a reputation for overbilling. My bill had no breakdown at all. No way she spent the amount of time claimed. Was inflated. She uses the trick where the bill is outrageous, and then a tiny portion is written off. You are supposed to think you are getting a deal when you are still being ripped off. Unless you want to spend a lot of money for someone to send a couple of emails and make a few phone calls on your behalf, find someone else.
