In May 2012 I hired Ms. Burks to represent as my attorney for an auto accident my daughter was involved in. It was a simple case to win. The first time we went to court was August 2013 and the defendants attorney agreed to settle out of court. Afterwards I did not hear anything from her at all, she will not return phone calls, her assistant at her office lies for her. It is now February 2014 and I finally got tired of her excuses of her mother being sick, her being sick, or her daughter being sick and I fired her as my attorney. I retrieved my file from her to give to my other attorney and I looked through it and she has done nothing on my case. The defendants attorney sent her two letters trying to settle the case and she did not respond back at all. This lady do not need to be practicing law, she will lie to her clients, and she is very unprofessional.
