I have been working with David Goldfarb for more than a decade. He said he would stay with me till the kids were 18, and he has. He has answered every question, fought every battle, and he knows our family well. It is not an impersonal relationship- if you hire David, he will care for and fight for your family as though it was his own! Additionally, he’s very proficient at his job. He comes from a background of being a prosecutor and a defense attorney, and he is extremely intense in the court room. In our most recent case, he tore the other attorney to shreds, and I cannot recall a single case where he hasn’t walked away with a solid win for us. Also, his paralegals are knowledgeable and accessible. I just cannot say enough. Legal battles no longer stress me out, because I know David has got this. I would say you can’t pay for this kind of peace of mind, this kind of legal protection, but you can by hiring him.

David never makes promises about my case, but is realistic in which direction things could go. I was able to anticipate what to expect in the courtroom with his counseling. Greg and David were always available to assist me in questions in a timely response. The billing was reasonable and easy to read. Not to mention, David's courtroom presence can be described as a "fireball"; He listens attentively to the other party and catches their tactics with wording when I did not. When other attorneys said my evidence would be irrelevant in my divorce case, David made them relevant and saw the importance in presenting it. I believe it was because of his experience that I was able to receive the outcome I wanted. David knows the judges, and thats half the battle. My divorce has been a headache, but David got the pressure off me and on to the other party who was less than prepared in comparison.

Attorney Goldfarb and his asisstant Carolynn did an excellent job representing my son in a child custody case. Attorney Goldfarb was respectful, knowledgable , good at communicating and keeping us informed. My son had been to 3 other attorney's prior to meeting Attorney Goldfarb. If we had met Attorney Goldfarb first we would have save time and money and a great deal of stress. We are very thankful to Attorney for a job well done. I highly recommend him!!

My experience working with Gillespie, Shields & Durant has been nothing but POSITIVE. I had a very difficult child custody case to say the least, in which I went through three lawyers, before finally choosing G.S&D. Once I was in the hands of David Goldfarb I knew everything would work out in my favor- and sure enough, I was treated with the utmost respect through out the entire process. David Goldfarb is THE BEST lawyer I have ever hired. He is a great lawyer who wont settle for anything less than perfection. Most lawyers I have hired were either too busy to keep me updated on my case, or were busy trying to "beat around the bush" and charge me for unnecessary things. Davis is a very knowledgeable attorney, who knows most of the judges in the county very well. Unfortunately he depends on those two attributes to much, while missing court deadlines, not preparing properly for trials, and in one case forgetting we had a hearing until we finally got a hold of him on his cell phone at 8pm the night before. For someone who asks for $250/hr regularly, while his paralegals charge over $100/hr, it just simply isn't worth it. The errors and forgetfulness of his office included, I can't recommend David. Filing our pretrial statement after the deadline was the last string.

After contacting one of the number one rated Family Law attorneys in Arizona and being told that our case didn't have a chance we found Mr. David Goldfarb on the internet and turned to him for help. Very professional, competent and knowledgeable! He knew every detail about my case within a day or two (wasnt able to retain him until two days before my evidentiary hearing!) He was very accomodating to my schedule and sensitive to my needs. I was very impressed with his knowledge of family law, his courtroom presence and his ability to cut to the chase, without costing me a fortune for file review! It was nice to see an attorney who really did care for a change! I would HIGHLY recommend David to anyone needing a family law attorney.

Nothing but praise for David. He was the bulldog attorney I needed to fight for me in mediation and in court and I am thrilled with the results. I went into my child custody case with three goals, and I thought my child and I were entitled to them all. I didn't have a lot of physical evidence for my claims. I figured it would be a typical 'He said She said' case and was concerned the respondent would be able to talk his way to a unfair ending. Well, David developed a case and we walked out of court with EVERYTHING we wanted!

The bottom line is I went into my child custody case with five goals, and I thought although my child and I were entitled to them all... I didn't have a lot of physical backup/evidence for my claims. Well, David helped me find and produce evidence supporting my claims, developed a case around it, and we walked out of court with EVERYTHING we wanted and needed. He was even suprised that the judge sideded with us as the fathers side of a custody case where the mother had always been the primary care giver. Because of the evidence that he presented . David was great on bringing up the revelant information to our case to maxamize the impact to the judge. We will recommend David to all of our friends and family if needed.

I found David when I first began searching for lawyers, quickly after speaking to several firms, I realized there was no way I would be able to afford an attorney. This attorney was extremely sympathetic to my needs, handheld me through my very emotional and at times traumatic times, communicated well with me and was incredible in court. He is a true litigator with much experience, charisma, and knowledge. He is direct and seems to know what the Judges are looking for in a case. I would recommend him to anyone and will.

Never filed anything on time, with excuse after excuse. Paper work a mess. At one time listed himself as representing the other party. Filed the wrong copy of divorce papers with promises to fix it the next day, which he never did. Even charged for phone calls when I requested he fix his mistakes. Stay away from this one or you'll feel as ripped off as me.
