I engaged Mr. Blaustein and his firm to help my wife with a tax problem she had with the IRS. After promising to file her returns on a timely basis and get things straightened out, he proceeded to lose all the information she sent to him, was rude and arrogant and very aggressive about being paid.The net result was that she had to engage another firm and pay twice for his "non" work. On top of all this, his fees were several times higher than those quoted to her for the same work by other experts who had warned us about Blaustein prior to engaging him. Unfortunately there was not much information available except that he had written several books.I would not recommend Blaustein to anyone based on this experience.
