I regretably retained this Broward attorney to represent me in a 2002 narcotic's related case...huge mistake!At first blush,Mr.Simon presented himself as an aggressive individual,however,this initial sale's pitch faded out in a short span of time.Mr.Simon neglected to inform the court's of my documented and progressive drug dependency as well as my long history of mental health illness .Moreover,he failed to acknowledge and challenge the State's inclusion of an unannounced sentencing enhancement.basically,he sat on his hand's and did nothing to actively defend me against the pending charges,and in my opinion,his overall ineffectiveness was the death blow in my case.I filed a formal complaint on him with the Florida Bar in 2006,however,my grievance's fell on deaf ear's because incompetence does not rise to the same level as misconduct.For these and other correlated reasons,I would not give him a favorable rating nor would I recommend him to anyone in serious need.
