Moshtael drafted a document for me. Due to their negligence, they filed the document late and the court dismissed it as being tardy. The court stated that due to the document being late, they no longer had jurisdiction over the matter. Despite that, Moshtael still charged me for the “tasks” they claimed to do relating to the late document, totaling over $5,000. Why should the client be punished for the firm’s mistake???
On top of the late document, Moshtael overcharged me for multiple tasks, of which I have documented proof of. For several phone calls, they charged me 3-4 times more than the amount of time the conversation actually lasted. They didn’t respond to me for a long time. It wasn’t until I showed them my phone bills that they finally credited me for the overcharged calls.
It was the worst mistake on my life to hire them. Please think long and hard before doing business with this company because they will nickel and dime and strip you out of money in a blink of an eye!

High attorney turn over, multiple complaints have been filed with the CAR BAR, they are dishonest and expensive, be careful.

Navid Moshtael told me it would cost $300 for a letter I asked for to my ex regarding child support. He said that I had to post a $2,000 retainer before he would write it but the balance would be returned to me after the letter went out. I paid the retainer and literally never heard from him again. It took almost 3 YEARS for me to get another attorney in his office to write a few lines and send it out and he has kept the entire retainer. And he claims I actually still owe him additional money! This guy is a liar and a con-man. RUN!

Worst experience ever! Talked a great talk though. Wouldn't return calls or emails! Would wait until the night before and email me at 8pm to tell me 20 pages of paperwork had to be filled out by me and returned no later than 8am the next day! The whole office talked down to me...and the only time he actually WOULD contact me was to demand more money to be sent and it had to be sent IMMEDIATELY!
No warning...NOTHING!
Left me high and dry and didn't care at all!!!
Never AGAIN!!

TERRIBLE TERRIBLE TERRIBLE lawyer!I hired him for a very simple case and paid him for about $50,000.00 but he was SO IRRESPONSIBLE and just asking for money!

talked a good talk, got the retainer, and never kept any promises. funny thing this guy actually told me "I'm not like most lawyers, I actually return phone calls" lol, he never returned my phone calls, i called multiple times and left messages with his staff, he never called, i was told to leave an email, i left several, less than 30% were replied to.
