Amber Austin represented my husband in a divorce case. I was the respondent in this case. I think she is one of the most UNETHICAL attorney in the way she practice, conduct her business and advise her client. She did a LOT of UNNECESSARILY filing in the case just to find reasons to bill my poor husband. My husband & I had a mutual divorce agreement, how we wanted to divide up our assets, etc. it's was supposed to be a very clean and basic divorce. Amber wasted a lot more time and did unnecessarily things to drag out just so she can get paid. I understand every attorney get pay for their time but the way Amber Austin presented her self in this case, showed me how Unethical she is and is willing to do just anything just to get pay. Sad to see such counsel in the field misrepresenting their clients. I represented MYSELF (Pro SE) in this case as a respondent and after she wasted 9 additional months of our time, I settled with what my husband & I originally agreed before he hired her plu

I couldn't believe I was paying her, because it felt like she was representing my ex the whole time. She did not represent me and did not work for my benefit. I did better without an attorney. After firing her, she charged all sots of fees that did not jive with her emails and run-down of time put in. Total waste of time and money. If you want to be yelled at by our own attorney, pick Amber.

Don't bother taking your business here. If you're a parent trying to look out for your grown child during a difficult time, seek someone else. During our case Ms. Channell seemed to prefer to take the path of least resistance. Had more patience with the opposing counsel than my child. Consistently lectured, "hand-slapped", and threatened to stop representation over misunderstandings that were on HER part. Even after that was revealed and she realized it was her mistake, there were no apologies. Charged unspeakable amounts of money for virtually no protection. Lectured my child when their former spouse threatened them, but did nothing to help. I regret contacting this firm.
