Very bad services. Stay away! Never available on time for consult, very ambiguous on describing the procedure to follow, never provided relevant info on the case! Obviously, interested only in cashing the retainer!

High fees for the quality of services provided. She is available at first to take your money for a large retainer, but then is not available by phone or on site unless you take more appointments with her and she will charge more fees. Should you have a urgent two minute question, this is a not an ideal way to work. Did not get any results and lost time and money due to the fact that my case seemed to complex and hard for her to handle. Do not use if you if your spouse is abusing your children or if you are stuck in an abusive relationship.

Très décevant!!!! Plus intéressée à faire de l'argent que de défendre le meilleur des intérêts de son client! Je soupçonne qu'elle surfacture des communications ou fait exprès de communiquer avec la partie adverse, juste pour augmenter la facture!! Très confiante de gagner en cour....mais perd!!! car ne défend pas toujours ce qu'il y a de mieux pour son client. Entretien la chicane avec la partie adverse...Expérience somme toute très décevante, avec du surplace pendant plusieurs mois, et qui s'est terminé en changeant de firme d'avocat!! ou enfin, la satisfaction a été au rendez-vous!

Maitres Brunet and Marcoux always treated us with respect, always returned our calls and made themselves available for any questions or concerns we had. Friendly and confident, but not really good in Court. The other attorney, from a well known Montreal firm, was tearing apart their head lawyer and then later one of her acolytes. It was embarrassing. We ended up deciding to settle because they were losing over and over again.

Used her for mediation, got nowhere because she didn't help to negotiate in any way. She just has you sign her form right away so that she gets paid even when the meeting lasted 10 minutes. Glad I didn't spent a penny on her since it was covered.Huge waste of time and energy.

Her firm is filled with under performing attorneys. Her rates sound reasonable, but then she charges for EVERYTHING. Send 4 emails with files at the same time, $30 each email. Money hungry, threatens to drop you. Way to high in costs for an attorney who doesn't know what she is doing. Only doing what she does for the money. I guess that's how she bought her Tesla and Porsche.

This is a bit of a delayed review on Me. Brunet. Last year she represented me in court while my lawyer was on vacation. At first, I was nervous as I didn't know her style. I was amazingly surprised. She is a very bright person and quick on her toes to react when needed. She was impressive in court as her many years of experience in the field have contributed to that. I am surprised at how low her score is her as I cannot imagine her not being one of the best lawyers in Montreal. You will definitely be in safe hands with her and her incredibly talents staff of lawyers.

I misplaced my trust, lost my home, access to my children wasted my time lost half my children's support and ended up being dropped 3 weeks before my court date after 7 months of empty promises, ridiculous billing endless losses abuses and breaches from the other side. the worst decision I've made in years

This Attorney will keep opposing Counsel on their toes with her poised manner, eloquent pleading, and extensive knowledge of family law. Defends her clients fiercely and is clearly respected by Judges.

She knows how to play the game. I sensed something was wrong immediately. My mistake. Fired her 12 months & $85k later with no results. ex: The preliminary hearing for temporary custody & support: I pay double in child support & lost shared custody (after sharing for a year). She got her ass kicked. Then she suggests changes to terms (you don’t know are aggressive) then argues with the opposing lawyer, bills you handsomely for it, while creating animosity. Junior staff does the doc-prep so many mistakes, spelling errors & duplicate language. Plus she charges VERY high fees. ex: $30 per email. Not to respond, just read it & then double-bills. I had to track every detail of every hour of every bill. She double-billed or over-billed me approximately $20k over time. With no help from her, I settled out of court: Shared custody, support amount slightly higher than required. If it wasn’t for my proactive nature I would probably still be in court. My advice: Use someone else. Anyone else.

After 18 months and $70,000 in fees there has been NO RESOLUTION in my divorce. I still don't have access to my kids despite COURT ORDERS of so. I have no access to my personal belongings. My ex took all my $ and the bank has foreclosed on the house. I am no farther ahead but now owe Ms Brunet and her idiot associate. They did nothing. Never scheduled an interrogation and dropped me after 18 months only 3 weeks before a mediation date. It seems to me it was all a money grab. They couldn't handle the pressure from the other attorney and ran. I am contesting their motion in court. WORST ATTORNEYS EVER. Be warned. Stay away.

I am very pleased with Brigitte Brunet's work on my case. Despite what some people above have said, I find she did an excellent work, I was briefed on every step and was well aware of the whole procedure. I knew it would take a year before having a court date and she kept in touch. I know she had to work extremely late as it was an international case with contacts in the Middle East. She worked within the estimates she gave me. I found she had a very human approach and made me feel at ease and secured in times of uncertainty. I didn't know much about my rights and had been wronged by another lawyer. She fixed everything. I would recommend her and her team to anyone who needs a family lawyer.

This lawyer charged me an astounding$15,000 in 4 weeks (despite the fact that I wrote the body of the motions), even the judge noted in his judgement that the fees were high. She estimated $3000. She double billed me, over billed me, and deviated (deliberately) from the motion before the judge (and against my wishes), which contravened another order to which I was bound, which resulted in the other side filing an appeal. She passed on the file to be worked on by one of her junior lawyers that struggles in English - another nightmare. She refused to provide me with parts of my file, which goes to prove that she charged me to read the same thing twice. I have paid $10k, but, refusing to pay $5 on account. This lawyer is refusing to settle, and I am now filing before arbitration. This lawyer has been unethical with me.

Supposedly your lawyer but definitely not working for your best interest. She passed the case to her junior assistant who cannot communicate. This lawyer screwed up big time! Not only she doesn't have the time, she didn't know what she was doing and we end up paying the price....still paying the price of her mess now. RUN...DON'T EVER GET THIS LAWYER

Nothing good to say about her IT WAS A NIGHTMARE ,NOT TRUSTWORTHY doesn't return calls, Condiscending,rude, doesn't give updates, not clear on procedures, weeks & weeks without giving you any news, I had a court date I didn't even know about. WORSE part, when she could not get out of the mess she created in my file, she began lying and accusing us of not paying our bill.Her mother is the secretary, I requested details of my bill because they are extremly vague. Never received anything.Asked for the maximum price it would cost me, she replied 5k maximum. I am at 6k and Im waiting for a copy of my file cause I fired her. 6k and I had no clue I was going to court or that she even sent a settlement to my EX. What was the settlement she sent him.... NO CLUE as of yet... Save yourself........ They are all liars starting from mother to daughter to the other lawyer in the office. No words to discribe the horror.Picking up my file today & placing a major complait to the Syndique
