Think used car salesman. When we first met him he had used fooled into thinking he was worth the $500/hr however we had to do most of the work because the quality and accuracy of his affidavits were akin to someone in high school. Never followed through on what he said he was going to do, charged us for services not delivered. Communication was a nightmare. Constantly had to remind him of basic file information etc etc. Witnessed him throw one of his other clients under the bus while in court. Talks a big game but under delivers. Guy just wants your money. Avoid him.

Bud is the worst lawyer I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. He promised me a fair settlement and delivered the opposite I did all the leg work and got it to his office and all he did was say yes to the other lawyer and tell me I should go along with it. I was into him for close to 10 k before I realize he was a chump It’s my own fault for letting it get to that point but after 15 k i pretty much had to stick it out. It would have cost me another 15 and I’d be back to square one in the end he took me for 22500 and 2 years of headache. She got the house equity and all the furnishings and a brand new Honda that I paid off I was left with a travel trailer and a 2011 pick up, a 50000$ loc that we took out together The justice system isn’t fair at all I got royal screwed and have Buddy to thank. I never won 1 single battle with her and her lawyer it was always give give give. Even the stuff I had brought into the relationship she got 1/2. And buddies didn’t fight 1 iota. Thanks Bud

Mr. Melnyk reviewed a separation agreement completed by a 3rd party for me. I was with him for approx 1hr. I requested he send the agreement to my ex's lawyer. He forgot and it was a week late. I work up north as a tradesperson and make well over six figures. He made 1hr work out to cost me a week and a half of after tax income. Avoid this guy.

This lawyer will rob you. I just got a bill in the mail for services rendered and I have not used him in over a year.. ? He doesn't get what you want done and is very "lazy".. do not recommend

He was my ex's lawyer, I am not the same person who wrote the comments on buddy being her ex's lawyer, but my comments would only echo hers. He also fired my ex in the end, was very cutthroat, tricky and manipulative. My lawyer was also VERY weak and so it was not that much work for Buddy in that way. Smart and quick to sue and my ex complained of the constant billing which is why I think he was fired.

He is lame and does not look out for your interests at all. He is very quick to take your money and very slow to get anything done. At first I thought I had we'll spoken smart lawyer on my side. He is smart ..... Smart enough to get your money and provided me no results. I had to fire him and after more the 5 thousand dollars I had to start over with another lawyer.

Mr Melnyk is a senior lawyer who is extremely knowledgable. He represented me in a very complex family matter. I found his communication skills to be one of his strengths. He explained things clearly so I could understand. I would highly recommend him.

He didn't report to me on anything. Was getting bills for services we didn't ask for, and didn't do the ones I asked. Doesn't return calls or emails

Mr. Melnyk is the second lawyer in my life who was available for my complex civil litigation problem. He provided the best service (prompt and excellent), charging for 1 hour only. This was my ex's lawyer. Very quick on his feet. Cruel cutthroat and tricky. A real scrapper/manipulator. Did what I think is a very good job for his client. But I had a really weak lawyer on the other hand. I know my ex did not appreciate it because the bill was excessive. Buddy canceled my ex as a client in the end. I would not take him as a lawyer (if I could) because of the cost. But he will fight for you, but he might end up fighting you too.. beware

Mr. Melynk strung me along for over a year and half, without hardly anything being done on my file, including no child support.
I'm a single mom, with 2 kids and have had no support from my ex in 3 years and Mr. Melnyk knew this, but yet he cost me about Ten thousand.
Then on top of it all, he dumped me as client saying that I have no matrimonial property to be divided. I thought that being married for 23 years and owning 3 companies that would have been matrimonial property, but I guess in his eyes that wasn't enough.

After supporting my children by myself for two years I finally started to receive it, then Mr Melnyk suspended my Child support for ninety days with my approval. well he didn't have my approval I knew nothing about it until maintenance called me and told me, not just once but twice. And he cost me almost $20, 000.
