We were in a huge pickle & as a last resort, we decided to give Joel & his team, Thomas, Ryan & Adam a shot. We had twice been offered Loan Mods by Countrywide/BofA & then had the offers rescinded for no good reason. Joel tenaciously dogged the banks & we were granted a modification we now are paying on. Not one 30 day late since we started the Modification. We had tens of thousands of dollars written off & more to interest free from our loan agreement due to threatened lawsuit that Joel & company filed on our behalf. We could not be happier with the job done by this good man. At the time to pay the final installment per our contract with Joel ($1300), we were struggling along & fell behind with Joel & nearly did so with our loan. I called & spoke with Joel to explain our position financially & he asked me how our finances were. He said to "not worry about paying him back, pay the bank first." Bad lawyers do not offer this kindness & generosity. We are 3 - $50 payments away from payoff

We stupidly paid money up front to assist us to negotiate a loan mod with BOA. When I received one of their rare call backs they clearly knew nothing about our particular situation and failed to remember the information and requests from a previous call. There was never any apparent work done our behalf. Please do not waste your time or money with this so called "law firm".

i was contacted by alexx ,alex clImed to be the office manager and gauaranteed he cold get me a n modification.paid him 1500 dollars . never heard from him after that. failed in all areas felt reallly dumb but was recovering fromm stroke at the time do not fall for the mumble jumbo. when cnd became angery.out of the money2012

Communication is non existent. One pays money up front and waits. It has been 2 1/2 years and still no result. Our bank has sold our note instead of a modification and now the same thing is happening all over. I have 3 feet of paperwork (copies) of all documents I have been required to send and STILL no result. They do not return phone calls. The only good thing is we are still in our house, the negative is that had they not been involved we would have already have negotiated with the lender and had a result. Meanwhile, interest and fees have mounted making it almost impossible to recover from this. I do NOT recommend this office.

They promised to save me from foreclosure. I lost 10 pounds making $9,000 to pay them to save my family. They simply robbed us and didn't help us at all. I became a broke college student. I want my hard earned cash back. It's been 2 years and I haven't been able to gain all my weight back. I lost my health and my wealth. This law office is full of criminals themselves. They were only nice in the beginning, making false promises to help me. After taking all the money I had, they wouldn't even talk to me about my case.

I DECIDED TO GIVE IT A TRY, THEY BEEN THERE SINCE 2008 DOING MODIFICATIONS NOW LITIGATION, MY ACCOUNT MANAGER RETURN MY CALLS ON AVERAGE 24 HOURS AFTER I LEFT A MESSAGE, THEY WERE ABLE TO HELP MY WITH MY OCWEN MORTGAGE, I GOT A 2% INTEREST RATE FOR THE LIFE OF THE LOAN! I hired Mr. Joel Feinstein's law firm for a loan modification. It too 11 months, and we had to initiate a lawsuit to get it done, but they did it. They have a very good team there, including Chris, Joseph, Sean, Rachel, and David. Sometimes it takes a a day or two for them to get back to you, but overall I am very happy with their performance. Keep up the good work.

Staff are terrible in returning calls. I have been trying to contact them either by email or phone calls and no responses. I definetely would not recommend this law offices. After receiving your $3000 you don't hear from them any longer.

I went to the Law Office of Joel Feinstein (and his cover company Smart Way One) to attempt to negotiate a loan modification starting in 2010. He and his staff outlined a process to collect information and work with the banks to make the house affordable. They get you through the first few steps quickly to collect as much money as they can get from you so it seems to go great through service level 2. When it actually came to getting the loan modification, Joel and his staff did not appear to be interested in even negotiating with the bank. He came to the conclusion after about a week that the bank was not going to modify the loan with any reasonable terms. So now the problem: When you hire a law firm to fight for you, one would expect them to do just that. Joel Feinstein instead just gave up on the work (but of course his office aggressively attempted to collect the remaining balance from me). I would not recommend Joel F and suggest you work directly with the banks if you can.

This attorney advertises as a criminal attorney. After paying him $3,000.00 up front I told him I would need six months to pay off the balance of $5,000.00. He claimed he has worked in the ridgecrest area before. He further claimed that if this gets settle in 1 or 2 trips will charged me only the #3,000.00. I have worked with bad attorneys in the past and did not want to pay everyting upfront only to have te attorney drop me as a client. Well first he sends my case to another attorney. Who appeared only once just long enough to have my or revoked and hac to post bail. Then I get a call from an Adrian who third party disclosed personal information and threatened to cancel my contract unless I called him I have called him the case manager Tania and both attorneys and have not received a phone call back I went to the office today and noone was there. I have a feeling that they are not going to honor the verbal agreement and keep my $3,000.00 for one appearance.

I came to the office of Joel Feinstein in a very bad situation. My home was going for sale the next day. Joel and his staff were able to postpone the sale date and after a long fight with the bank, they were able to keep me in my home. It was an emotional roller coaster through out the whole process but they were always there when I needed them. I can't thank Mr. Feinstein and his staff enough for all the effort they did for me and my family. Thank you...thank you and god bless you.

this office should not be called a law office. after they take your $3500 there is no comuication at all and at the end when they do nothing to help you they call to let you know thats the best they could do. i hired them to help me with my modification on my home and got nothing now we lost $3500 and our home is going for a short sale i would never recommond this office to anyone they came they can help in the begining then after they take your money they do nothing,

I hired this lawyer because the bank broke many policies during modification process and I was in forclosure. His asistant took my case because I have proof of all the bank did wrong, and he suggest to wait until the bank will send the 3 days eviction notice. Now the bank change the locks in the house. It means that the lawyer never work on my case and I paid three at front. I do not recomend Joel Feinstein.

Joel Feinstein was referred to me by family member The staff is very slow After eight months working with staff I find the did not do the work they said they which was find loan modification papers with my Lenders (3)One of my homes got a Trustee for Sale and Joel Feinstein would not take my calls they told me I had to go into foreclouse to get th 2% low rate I signed paid Three thousand up front I learned they did nothing with my lenders I fired them Joel wanted to haggle about refunding my money he released two thousand two hundred because I threaten to flie legal action against him Now I find to reinstate that property I must pay four thousand five hundred dollars in legal fees I want the remaining eight hundred I paid plus those additional legal fee my lender wants me to pay
