This lawyer did my closing on a refinance and I got the sense that he should retire. He must be close to 80 and it showed because when I asked him questions, he spoke vaguely and I didn't think he could focus well. This wasn't my first closing so I have been to closings before and he seemed to be a bit out of it. Sad. Someone should gently tell him to call it a day and retire.
