have had him for 7 years now, been sitting at home waiting. He keeps appealing and charging me way too much. I am paying almost 300 dollars which I don't have, to attempt to run my case. Find someone else, he is useless.

He may know his stuff but that's worthless if he doesn't act upon whatever he says. Very poor customer service not only from him, but his secretary as well. Demands money up front even though you may not have money. No guarantee he won't disappear as he has on us. Save your money and contact someone else.

I had Bain see me and my mother. She was not properly represented by the union and the last guy we saw did not tell us all that we heard from Bain. He took on our claim and got her money WSIB missed in calculating her earnings and he got them to increase her NEL award each month. It took sometime but we are satisfied.

bain Thompson is a horrible lawyer. he only cares about money. once he takes your money he never calls or does anything for your claim. don't let him touch your file and save your money for a proper lawyer. we gave him our wsib claim and he never called us after we paid him the retainer. the only time he called us was when we got some money from the wsib then he called us every day. we wish we never entrusted him with our claim.

Hired Bain for a case, didn't follow up at all. Wasn't cheap as the prior post mentioned, he charged me 1500 as an initial fee. Then randomly messaged for another fee of 500 and lastly asked for another 240 but I decided to take my case elsewhere. He also wanted 30% of the settlement (if or when there would be one). Not a lawyer, but a paralegal. He is good to talk to in person, sounds professional and ensures work done and guarantees results. Takes advantage of vulnerability and uses emotion to lure you in. After being lured in, I was stuck and the case was appealed a couple of times. Do not waste time or money.

I hired Mr. Thompson to handle my WSIB claim file recently and he has far exceed all expectations. He represented me in a very professional manner and I received positive results in a very short time period although he did explain that dealing with the WSIB could take some time. I am very happy with Mr. Thompsons work and considering that other lawyers charge much more his fees are very reasonable and he takes the time to get to know his clients on a personal level as well as in dealing with their claims. I highly recommend Mr. Thompson and ATCM Paralegal to anyone who is having issues with their WSIB claim files.

Overall, dissatisfied with the services provided by Bain Thompson. He appears to be knowledgeable when first approached, and is familiar with laws, rules, and regulations. However, knowledge is useless when not applied. This is the case for us. Communication is next to null: no prompt responses expected from him. We noted no persistence from his part, no appointments set up with health-care professionals. therefore, it's fair to say his quality of work is poor. Definitely not a bang for your buck! Save your money, find someone else. A lawyer that requires a fee before the work is done, is not worth it! He's got the money he wants, so has no motivation to go above and beyond for you.

not very punctual and definitely not professional. Mother has been injured and we went to Bain Thompson. Promised us hundreds of thousands and required an up front fee. We paid it and we were never contacted over a 4 year period. He never responds to e-mails and gave us no referrals to medical clinics, doctors, psychiatrists, etc. He talked more about his son who is playing sports in Fresno, California than anything about our case. He has never mentioned anything and taken over 4000 dollars from us. He is a scam and a horrible paralegal, save your money and please look up good lawyers on google. He has done cases for people we know, but was just really bad with ours. Anyways that's my opinion. If proof is needed I have a few e-mails I sent him personally.

Due to an injury from work back in 2009, I had met with Mr. Bain Thompson for his help. He was very knowledgeable and knew exactly what was needed to get the proper entitlement. He explained to me it would take time and to be patient. Without his help I would still not have received my correct entitlement. I would highly recommend him for assistance on your WSIB claims.

He's horrible. Two years and I never got one phone call from him. Had a case going and he asked for money all the time. I continued to pay because I wasn't well informed. Two times I appealed my case and paid both times. I have since hired a new lawyer who has made some amazing progress. I already have court dates set up and doctor's appointments. We went to Bain after getting a positive review from a family friend. Upon arriving he was very nice, seemed very professional and gave us false hope. He told us he can guarantee this and that and blah blah. We ended up paying him 1200 to set up paper work and whatever fees he had. Minding you we have no money to begin with as it was a work related injury. He never once called or messaged throughout the years. I emailed and called and showed up at his office, he was never there. I emailed and finally got a response. Then again not for another few months. Anyways, don't go to him, he sucks. No help and you will pay more than what you make.
