We hired Karen to mediate an amicable divorce but terminated the engagement before it was completed. Throughout the process, we encountered repeated factual errors, misspelled names, incorrect dates, redundancies, and inconsistencies in legal and financial documents, requiring us to spend significant time reviewing and correcting her work.
We were also concerned by what appeared to be a lack of financial expertise. Karen repeatedly confused financial accounts and insisted that certain retirement assets required a QDRO when they did not, despite the distinction being explained multiple times.
The mediation also moved very slowly, which drove costs far higher than anticipated. We spent approximately $10,000 and still did not have a completed divorce. For a cooperative and relatively straightforward case, the experience felt unnecessarily complicated, expensive, and inefficient.
We ultimately finalized the divorce ourselves, which the judge approved without incident.

I could not have been in better hands. She is very dedicated, listened to my concern regarding the emotional hardship and made me feel good about myself. I had been to another attorney who did nothing for my case. In one month she did more that my last attorney did in 6 months. I highly recommend her. Her husband is a great lawyer too her offered great insight.

She cared about me and my kids and tried to reduce bad feeling between me and my wife. I did not feel exploited. Judges seem to respect her and her partner. The other lawyer seemed very threatened but Karen was always respectful. She got the car done quickly.

I had a simple case. She made it much more complicated and turned my ex and me into enemies. I think that she did it to make more money. I dont recomend her.

She over charges and she is always away on a trip, putting her Husband, Steve to work for the case (even though you hired her), her paralegal and etc... All charging it up. She comes for the first meeting very though and knowledgeable to get the business, once she gets it, she gives it to her husband to handle it. Who is no good! They drag the case as much as possible and keep charging it. Almost never files in court. Be aware! I ended up paying for no results! At the end I had to drop her.

This woman is a total ripoff. I spent over $5,000 and all she did was churn the case, generate fees, ande never even filed for a court date. She should be disbarred
