Matt has been my attorney on & off for nearly 18 years (not a him problem, more of a thorn in my side issue). He is knowledgeable at every turn and has always advocated for my family & I keeping our best interests at the center. He has always won my arguments when hired. He will not disappoint, expensive YES! Worth every dollar, ABSOLUTELY !!

The biggest sleeze there ever was. Completely blew my case at every turn. An incompetent con artist. Even the Judge commented how inane his presentation were. He will string you along and pretend he knows what he's doing and is "working" on your case. A total liar. Run!

I hired this man who ended up being the worst example of every bad lawyer joke possible. He is a braggart and con man, incapable of following through in any manner. Unprofessional, ignorant, generally incompetant in every respect. He and his firm are rip off cons with zero skill, talent or committment but will take from you very cent they think your worth. Even the judge told him he did a lousy job representing me and of corse Torress lost ever time we went to court. His office staff were incompetant and nasty. Truely the worst low life possible.

I hired Matt as my divorce attorney about a 2 years ago. He was helpful and friendly during my consultation and I thought that he would be a good choice. I paid my retainer and submitted my paperwork to him. Their law office filed all of my paperwork late and were very poor at communicating. I never saw Matt again after my initial consultation. Every time I would have an appointment I would show up only to find out that he was out sick or on a family emergency. This happened 3 times. They never called me to reschedule just told me when I arrived. I had taken off work for these appointments and it was very inconvenient. Finally I ended up switching to a different law firm. The new firm was much better and an entirely different experience. I only received 1/2 of the refund I was promised. I was told that they had decided to charge me a withdrawal fee. I would never recommend Matt. My new lawyer said she had taken many of his cases so my experience was not unique. He has failed repeatedly

Matt is the best attorney in NM hands down! He is very knowledgeable and is incredibly easy to communicate with. He came highly recommended by a friend. I have also referred many of my friends and family to him, all of which have been incredibly pleased with the outcome of their cases. I can't thank him enough for helping me in my custody case. Matt came highly recommended, but I decided to try to find an attorney on my own. After 5 months with an attorney who did not care what I wanted when it came to my divorce and child custody issues, I went to see Matt. Instantly I knew he was the attorney for me. He was caring, compassionate, and actually listened to what I wanted!! He explained to me the things that should have already been done in my case. Immediately after retaining him he went to work. He got my divorce finalized and is on top of every step with my custody case. He gives great advice in terms anyone can understand. Who knows what my kids would be going through without Matt there to fight for us!! He was never bothered by any of my questions and always awnsered quickly. Everyone at his office is extremly friendly and always happy!! If you want an attorney who will fight for you, your rights, and what you want go see Matt!! In my opinion he is the BEST attorney in New Mexico!!

I asked a couple of my attorney friends who was a good family attorney and I got Mr. Torres recommended more than once. I have a friend, Nancy Hewitt who lives in Santa Fe, who was an attorney for the Public Defenders Office and did some of the death penalty cases. She was instrumental in stopping the death penalty here in NM. She now works for the Child Support Agency and was the Chair of the Public Employees Retirement Association for several years, she also highly recommended him.
Mr. Torres come highly recommended and has a great reputation throughout the state at being one of the best attorneys in family law.

Matthew has been my divorce attorney for the past year and has helped guide me through a very messy child custody case. He's an excellent, experienced attorney with a good reputation in the legal community. He always responds to my emails and makes himself available to meet with me. I highly recommend him as a lawyer who can get in the courtroom and fight, give you sound advice, and help solve your problems. So you can get on with your life. He's a good guy!

We had a case going on for over 4 years and finally we saw the light at the end of the tunnel. We got the child support reduced. I never thought this case would resolve and it finally did Thank You Mr. Torres for giving us our life back. Thank You!! Thank You!!! Thank you to the whole Family Law Firm- they are by far the best.

I couldn't ask for a better lawyer for a custody battle taking place across state lines. He and his team have been right on their game. Matt has really helped us in a time when noone else even seemed to care that there are little people being hurt and the courts are supposed to protect them.
