Hones,t thorough R.E attorney. No BS; a little rigid but that is a typical lawyerly trait. Very very knowledgeable about apt conversions and legal issues involvd in Board operation of NYC CO-OPs. Will tell clients uncomfortable truths; a quality too frequently undervalued.

Working with Sara Throne was a true nightmare for me and my family. We were selling and buying apts in NYC for my 84 year old mother. Sara was condescending and nasty during every conversation. She misinterpreted our requests and created work that took us down unnecessary paths that led nowhere. Then when she billed us, she charged $450, her hourly rate for every 10 minutes of supposed work totaling over $12,000!!! While these transactions were slightly more complicated because of timing issues, everyone we have shown her bills to agree that they are outrageous. I have never felt compelled to write a negative review before but we are outraged and hope we can spare someone else this experience. Stay away!!!!
