Marrison law is as unethical as they come. Patricia Marrison is a shark only concerned with money and how much and how fast they can bill you. They will multiple bill you for anything they can get away with. I was destroyed in court as the judge immediately showed his disdain for P. Marrison and ruled everything against me. I wasted thousands of dollars at this firm before I learned what they are really about. Stay away from Marrison law.

BEWARE! She will over bill you for the incompetence of her associate attorneys and then file a lien on your house. You will end up fighting her in court along with your ex. She should not be allowed to practice law. She is the true definition of a shark and is only out for your money - not to help you.

Rob Hunt was our lawyer and he was terrible. He was passive and did not prepare well for court. The law firm he worked at is Marrison and they have poor customer service. Hunt quit the firm in Dec 10, and we were appointed a replacement without a say. That lawyer was more aggressive but we asked for attorney fees ($3,700) and the lawyer asked for $2,500 (our initial fee). This firm never missed a fee when they billed us but when they fought for our money they could car less the actual amount. When I talked with Ms. Marrison about this she said she would research it and get back with me, but never did. I called back 7-9 times in 2 weeks, and Marrison wouldn't discuss the matter so she handed the call over to a bulldog in their billing dept. and she was very rude and basically told me "tough luck." This was very poor customer service and not a good firm. I am a retired USAF Vet, and I plead with any military folks to ignore the discount they offer and find a better lawyer.

Hunt was my attorney through Marrison. He walked into court with only the slightest idea of what my issue was. I spoke to him right before he entered court and he asked me "So, your son was living with you for a year?". That was the crux of my case!!! THEN he didn't ask for attorney fees or court costs. Could have stopped my ex-wife right in her tracks instead of letting her get away to come after me AGAIN! STAY AWAY from Marrison!!

I used this Law firm and totally agree with the comments above. My atty wouldn't call me back- I had to continuously call and follow up with him about things tht weren't done- of course he charged me for each call, even though I wouldn't have had to make them had he done the things he told me he was going to. Then- he LIED to me on more than one occasion about things he had done. I had no idea he had not done these things until later when I went to get copies of my file from the courthouse and discovered that some of the stuff wasn't there. I requested my file from the law firm and discovered none of the things were in there either. Don't take your attorney's word that he has done something- always ask for proof, is the lesson I took from here. I blew money I didn't have on this attorney who hurt my case in ways I don't know I can recover from.

This firm was appauling. They're unprofessional and drain retainer fees with repetitive charges. Each attorney works with their paralegal to send duplicate notices regarding the same thing in the form of e-mail, voiemails, and letters then charge you for each one. When disputes regarding charges were brought to their attention it took over a week to get a response. Then the women actually started a gossip chain of e-mails regarding the disputes, leaving their commentary attached when they responded back to the client. They're careless with their work and communication is lacking. They actually sent legal documents for 2 other cases by accident to their client. Anyone considering this firm really should go else where. You will lose your entire retainer fee and deal with incompetent people that will carelessly handle your case.
