I went to Robert to do my divorce after years of abuse my husband abandoned me and our two little girls (they were one and three at the time). I paid him and he did NOTHING!! I mean NOTHING as far as I could see, surely did not get my divorce for me as a matter of fact I never even stepped foot in a courtroom!! He talks a good talk! I was basically a single parent getting no child support and had to struggle to come up with the money (which he knew). Worked three jobs and finally got the money together thinking this will finally be over. Nope!! Struggled to save the money again (finally got enough after another year and a half) went to another lawyer and had my divorce in a month and a half!! In that year and a half I waited, my husband claimed the girls on his income tax two times (although he never paid child support and didn't even bother to see the girls at all)!! He took more money we desperately needed away from us!! Hiring him is basically throwing money down the toilet!!

he has only visit my son 3 tmes out of almost a year of being hired and has already been paid in full and the time he is getting is crazy

DO NOT HIRE THIS "ATTORNEY" he will take your money, then forget about you. It took numerous phone calls just to get him on the phone. His staff is extremely rude and very unprofessional. My case was "pending" for a long time and it was a agreed cusotdy case!!!

I needed an attorney. Everyone I spoke to recommended Robert Witterstaetter. He had a very good reputation for taking care of his clients needs. Mr. Witterstaetter was extremely knowledgeable and very helpful. He is very honest and hard working for his clients. I found that he always had time for me and any questions that I had. I was very pleased with the end result. I would definitely recommend him to anyone who needed legal assistance. He is the best in Texarkana.

Please don't hire this attorney.He outright lied to me and my hsuband.I had outstanding traffic tickets which he told us both the judge agreed to drop half.When we get to court the judge asks me for the money for the half of the tickets that were left.First off the attorney never once contacted me,my husband had to hunt him down, but when the attorney first told us about the court date my husband told him we could not come up with the whole amount by the court date and he told my husband that he would talk with the judge but not to worry about it.When the court date arrives I finally meet the attorney in person,he asks me if I understand what is goin on in which I reply no.He did not even get a chance to talk to me before my name was called.The judge asked if I had the money in full to which I said no,my attorney then sternly looks at me and tells me he told me to have the money, and apoligizes to the judge telling her that he had told his client (me) to have the money.
