Never ever hire this guy. I had a simple traffic ticket. He did not communicate with me at all. I never met with him so I had no idea what he even looked like. I called him on several occasions and only heard from him once. He was snide and rude. He eventually sent me a letter to pay the fine and I did. I will never use this firm again! Don't waste your money.

ive had dan on all my cases and he did wonders for me hes not a bad lawyer hes a good lawyer just with to many cases hes always done great for me no complaints here and he works with me on payments and whatevers going on in my life hes been very kind and understanding so i recommend him anytime as a matter of fact hes a lawyer for alot of people i know and their all happy with him so i think dan just has a lot going on and he needs a break

The worse Lawyer I have ever encountered.Refuses to communicate with clients wont return phone calls and has no way to schedule appointment to meet with him unless its through him (but wont return calls to schedule appointment.

I used Dan as my Lawyer back in 1998.I’m sorry, but I never had one thing Dan didn’t do for me.He was right on everything.I gave him all my stuff and yes he gave it all back to me.He was always at the court house,even before me.Always there on time and he even went out of state to plead my case.He always called me.Always informed me with what was going on in my case.Very smart and knows his stuff very well.I had a principal asked me just right before we went into court.Just how good is your lawyer?I looked at him and said I will tell you what,You go in the court room and come back out and you tell me how he is.He said ok.So he went in came back out and looked at me and his words was He is good.My X told me he made him look Bad.Everytime I needed him for court he was always there for me.Just this year I called him for another problem.He called me back that day.Gave me my answer that I needed So I can’t say anything bad,because there was no bad.I would use him again Yes he cost,but wort

Terrible is all I can say! Lacks communication skills like being honest with clients! Talks you into things that are not to your benefit by telling you that he is going to do things after the fact lies lies and more lies! VERY unprofessional! He should stick to fixing traffic tickets, only thing he seems to be good at!

Dan has handled several legal matters for me over the last ten years. Although he didn't handle things exactly as he explained he would, he still handled them to my satisfaction. He has honestly taken interest in my well being and worked miraculously at keeping me out of jail.

I hired Dan because he said that I had a strong case against my landlord for breach of contract and many other issues, two weeks after the last court date I had to call his office 3 times and his secretary could not answer any of my questions. When he did call back he said that he needed more money and gave me a excuse as to why he did not have time to answer my calls but needed more money... I found out that he is on probation from the BAR for unethical conduct and I plan to file my own complaint against him with the Missouri BAR because he did not take my interest in account with dealing with my issue. DO NOT HIRE HIM......

Dan Briegel is a horrible lawyer. He talks a good game but when it comes down to it he doesn't do his job. DO NOT HIRE HIM!!!! You will not be able to reach him when you have extremely important issues that require immediate action.

I'm glad I read these reviews! As a result, I discovered that on May 29, 2012, Missouri Supreme Court Chief Justice Richard Teitelman found that Attorney Danny Briegel violated 9 counts of the Rules of Professional Conduct, and his license was suspended indefinitely. His suspension was stayed, and his license to practice law was placed on 3-years of probation. The counts include many of the complaints alleged from his former clients (abiding by wishes of client, diligence, dishonesty, communication, ect). Here it is: http://www.courts.mo.gov/page.jsp?... Based on this fact of the discipline actions taken, and the reviews on here, I feel forewarned to never hire Mr Briegel for anything, as he appears to be an inept incompetent attorney. I would not even hire Mr Briegel to mow my lawn, no more than represent me in any legal case.

Dani was was pals with the warren county prosecutor.I was driving through mo. got arrested.I didn't know anybody.They had a phone book in jail. i guess i picked the wrong person. I had a hearing to suppress evidence. what a joke. That's when i knew he was in on it.I knew i had no chance. the arresting did not show for the hearing. I traveled all the way from Florida.Only to be told to go back home.I asked him why. I said the cop did not show for the hearing. so they should drop the charges. He said this is Missouri we don't do that hear. the prosecutor name was Michael wright. They both planned for me, being an from another state to go jail. Mr wright in now county prosecutor. Watch out for him also.

This guy is smart but is the worst attorney I've ever hired. During his employment with me he had some personal issues and I understood his pain. However that is no excuse for never calling back, being late for court and every time you meet him he wants more money. If I would have read these reviews first it would have saved me atleast $10,000. I have fired him and not even bothered asking for a refund. It'll never happen. I gave him 3 stars for knowledge cause he sure does know how to swindle ya. JD Rohrer is a good attorney but should quit working with Dan as Dan will just bring him down. I do wish him well, but I'm not going to sink with his ship, he can sink on his own.

This guy is terrible! Do not waste your time and money. Will not return phone calls. He has been my divorce lawyer for 3 years now and I don't know anything about my own case! I fired him today and am at a lose of 2 grand I sank into him.

I PAID HIM IN MAY 2010 TO HANDLE MY DIVORCE. THAT WAS 95% SETTLED. THERE IS NO COMPANY LEFT NO ASSETS AND STILL NOT DIVORCED AND $400,000 IN DEPT.

I wish I had read this website first. I hired Dan on New Year's eve 2009 concerning a lawsuit that a family member was bringing against us. We took the paperwork to him, he asked for a $1500 retainer, we offered him $1000 which he took and told us not to worry about anything, he would take care of responding to the interrogatories that we had been sent by the plaintiff attorney. The questions were supposed to be answered by Jan 5th, 2010, he said he would ask for a continuance to the case. He did not enter any appearance as our attorney until 2 weeks later, the plaintiff attorney would only consider the continuance if we paid for the cost of a plane ticket to keep the plaintiff in Florida as she had already made her plans. He never submitted this offer to us. On the day before the actual trial of 2/5/10 he told us he was still trying to get a continuance, he never told us that it had already been denied, and at 3pm said we were going to court. He was totally unprepared.

I used Dan for two tickets. Piad him for both and ended up hiring another lawyer. On one he didn't show up to court and the bail bondsman went to to the judge for me since I explained to him that Dan did not send me anything on a court date, but did mail me letter about paying off a DUI. Funny thing is I have never had a DUI. I had a driving while suspended. Any ways I got another lawyer and told Dan I wanted my money back, but he then claimed I never paid him. I have both reciepts,(two 400 payment).On the second ticket dan also kept sending me letters about a DUI and where to pay. I went to court several times on this, with out Dan,and Dan even called me drunk one evening to inform me that all the confusion is my fault because he had sent me 5 or 6 letter on these matters. I informed him that the letters were for DUIs and he said he did not look at that. Anyways, I called the court house and took care of the tickets myself.I took the letters from Dan to the court house to prove why I

Danny Briegel is a "county seat" attorney who does not do his job. He will push you into settling your case because he is unprepared. He does not return phone calls, and I don't mean returns them later, I mean you can call every day for a month and he will never call you back, unless you owe him money. He fails to file the appropriate paperwork required to properly represent your case. If you need an attorney for anything other than a traffic ticket (and I wouldn't even hire him for that) please don't waste your time or money with this man.
