I couldn't have hired a better attorney to represent me in my divorce. I was completely confident in my choice the day I retained Marie and she never let me down. I needed to find a lawyer for my divorce in August of 2017, I was very lucky to have found Marie Reidy. When I met with Marie for the first time, she was very helpful with answering my questions and my concerns. After discussing my case with Marie, I felt very comfortable talking to Marie and I hired her the same day. Marie was always there at all my court dates ready to stand beside me and fight for what I was entitled to. Marie exhibits extensive knowledge & experience when it involves the role of the GAL.
You need three things to be an effective attorney for a client. Foremost you need an understanding of the law. Secondly you need a sharp intellect. Even though I didn't like the answers Marie provided, she was always right. She has a thorough understanding of the law and will tell you like it is. Her advice was invaluable. She was trying to save me money every step of the way, while aggressively addressing the major issues. Every time I wanted to say or do something stupid to provide me some immediate gratification, she would tell me how it would affect the outcome of my case. If it wasn't for Marie, I don't know how I could have gotten through this long drawn out process. If you are looking for the best, look no further.

For my divorce and co-parenting situation, hiring Attorney Marie Reidy was the best legal decision I have ever made. Ms. Reidy has been extremely effective in calming the opposing legal counsel and ex-spouse, and in reaching reasonable resolutions, where other attorneys have failed. My legal expenses have declined dramatically since hiring her. Collaboration with my children’s mother has increased greatly, as well. Ms. Reidy sets reasonable expectations. She takes a holistic approach. Her fees are reasonable. She delivers solid results. I wish I had Ms. Reidy as my attorney from the beginning of my divorce and co-parenting situation, as my children and I would have had much better results. Unfortunately, I had other, more expensive, less successful representation prior to Ms. Reidy. Start with Ms. Reidy.

Hiring Marie Reidy was the best decision I have ever made.
She explained everything to me before each court appearance, so I was never caught off guard and knew what to expect. I could tell she cared about my case, and her calm demeanor put me at ease in court. I got custody of my sons, and I have her to thank for that.

Attorney Reidy is a true professional. She handled my rather nasty divorce with integrity and effiency, even in the face of a difficult spouse with an even more difficult opposing attorney. I found Marie to be smart, productive and financially consciencious in my divorce proceedings, but even more important to me personally, she displayes compassion and good judgement. She spoke honestly and plainly about my options and possible outcomes, and I personally watched her remain calm and focused while opposing counsel screamed in her face. She was a decent attorney, but expensive. She works out of her huge home. It feels cold sitting in her dining room, when you are going through one of the toughest events in your life. I found out after, that she was friendly with the opposing attorney and would talk with her at different court cases about me and my case. I didn't feel like she supported me enough. She is smart, but doesn't know enough about women's issues (ie welfare, fear of harassment from ex, etc)

I have had this lawyer represent me at my divorce, Modification, contempt, purchase of my home, two refinances, draft my will and called her on behalf of my daughter, for a paternity action. She is the best! I have never, ever had to draft anything or make a single copy as the 1/5/11 review suggests. She's never asked me to. Additionally, I always receive a email or call back and in fact, she usually doesn't charge for a short call or email, as long as you don't abuse it. She was well worth the money and I think I probably would have had to pay double for any other lawyer and gotten less attention, response and most important, RESULTS! I recommend her to all my friends and family and wouldn't think of ever using any one else. Thus far, I have recommended her to 5 of my co-workers and they all feel a true affinity for her. She really listens. She was well liked in court and known to just about everybody we came in contact with.

Marie was not a good attorney - or representative of me. She didn't fight for me and kept nickel and diming me for the same issues over and over. She always sounds rushed on the phone. I did most of the paperwork and copies for her and still kept getting bills in the mail. Poor choice.

I hired Marie when my husband was accused of a crime. Because of the nature of the crime, there was a Care and Protection taken out on me. The first day I met her she told me what the worst case scenario was, which I didn't believe would happen, and it did. Marie was right there throughout this entire 2 year nightmare for me- day, night, weekends, always getting back to my concerns via email, phone so promptly. She offerred me more than just legal advice, she looked out for me and my daughter in so many ways - offerring advice in many ways. She became a friend, a mentor. I hired Marie for a child support mofification. She seemed knowledgeable enough and she was known in the court house but when it came time to work out an arrangement I felt as if she settled the case just to settle and that because she knew the other attorney she was not aggressive enough. As for her value she is compatable with other quotes I received but it seemed as if she settled the matter without much of an argument on my behalf.

I hired this attorney for both my divorce and then again for my estate planning because she was so great! I was very excited that she opened up her own law office because she does excellent work and genuinely cares about all of her clients. Not only did she get back to me that same day or the day after she worked on my schedule.
