I had never had the need for an attorney before, until my recent divorce. I asked a few people that I know, who worked at the courthouse, for suggestions. They all recommended Marie Reidy without hesitation. I found her to be very pleasant and very professional. The thing I really like about Marie is how quickly she gets back to you by phone or e-mail if you have questions. I got the feeling that she really cared about my case. Attorney Marie Reidy listens. Marie is also empathetic. She is well liked & respected by fellow attorneys, including opposing counsel. Marie is detail oriented & organized. Her communication skills are exceptional.
Marie exhibits extensive knowledge & experience when it involves the role of the GAL.
You need three things to be an effective attorney for a client. Foremost you need an understanding of the law. Secondly you need a sharp intellect. And third it is imperative that you are able to articulate your knowledge of the law and what is in the best interest of your client when you are in the court room facing opposing counsel and pleading your case before the judge. Marie has exhibited all three of these skills, along with other positive personal traits. These combined are what make Marie an excellent attorney, and one that I would use again. I would wholeheartedly & without reservation give my recommendation to anyone who is considering retaining Marie Reidy as their attorney

Even though I didn't like the answers Marie provided, she was always right. She has a thorough understanding of the law and will tell you like it is. Her advice was invaluable. She was trying to save me money every step of the way, while aggressively addressing the major issues. Every time I wanted to say or do something stupid to provide me some immediate gratification, she would tell me how it would affect the outcome of my case. If it wasn't for Marie, I don't know how I could have gotten through this long drawn out process. If you are looking for the best, look no further.

Attorney Reidy is one of a kind. She is thoughtful, heartfelt, intelligent, and has been the best advocate for my children's best interests. Hiring Marie Reidy was the best decision I have ever made.
She explained everything to me before each court appearance, so I was never caught off guard and knew what to expect. I could tell she cared about my case, and her calm demeanor put me at ease in court. I got custody of my sons, and I have her to thank for that.

When I first consulted Marie regarding an unexpected custody case she returned my call during off hours on a weekend. I hired this attorney for both my divorce and then again for my estate planning because she was so great! I was very excited that she opened up her own law office because she does excellent work and genuinely cares about all of her clients. Not only did she get back to me that same day or the day after she worked on my schedule. All of the attorneys and even judges respect her: when we were in court every attorney went out of their way to say hello. Not only is she pleasant, but she fought for me in the court room and got me exactly what I wanted. I promise that you will feel the same way if you choose to hire her because she is one of the most remarkable women I know.

I hired this attorney for a divorce. Except when it came to getting more retainer money, I rarely got my phone call returned. The knowledge was there but the communication was not. I think the settlement could have turned out better if there had been better communication.
