To keep this as short as possible I will just say she has zero ethics. It's hard to say whether it's her lack of knowledge or sheer laziness that compels her poor performance but I can say she knows she is terrible because she actually saw me again in court (she was there on other business) with a different lawyer who actually did their job and presented all the evidence that I previously gave to Linda to present and Linda made sure to go chat up the prosecuting attorney, who at this time was probably wondering why I didn't present this evidence at my prior hearing, when I walked over to their conversation she ordered me as though she were a law enforcement officer to go sit down. It was comical to see her actually worried that the DA might actually find out that she is as crooked as she is useless. I'm sure the whole of Clackamas county's prosecution department absolutely knows what kind of an attorney she is but it was still funny to see her sweat it.

Linda was one of the worst lawyers I have ever had contact with she never got back to us in three and a half years never called us lied to me I lost out on $5,000 bail money because she wasn't present and she told me she would be and I would never recommend this lawyer she should be fired I wrote the bar and nobody contacted me or got back to me she shouldn't be a lawyer I feel bad for the people who can't afford a good one

She yelled at me. She lied to the judge when asked if I had been in contact with her. Which ended up getting me taken into custody. I was released ten minutes later. She had me plead out to 20 days on a charge that everyone else was getting 2 days for. She told me there wasn't any other option. I knew better. She has no heart for people. She works for the d.a. not the person she's representing. Her words to me were if you do the crime you do the time. She was not interested in what had happened at all. She told me how she was a judge in gladstone, and how she throws people in jail for dui for 60 days all the time. She sees there released a few days later. So if I took the deal for 20 days I would probably be released the next day. I wasn't. I come to find out she doesn't even do dui cases in gladstone. Those are for Clackamas county. So she lied to me. She's a very mean mean lady. No heart. I do not recommend her at all. If she get appointed to you by the courts ask for someone else.

My daughter and several of her friends received MIPs as they were at the same party. All lost their license for 1 year with the exception of one male who was allowed to get his license back after 90 days. This boy and my daughter both work full time and go to school full time. My daughter asked if she could take a class to get her license back sooner, the judge told her no and if she receives a second MIP she will be in drug counseling "like the young lady before you". After looking up the law it clearly states that for a first offense you may get your license back after 90 days if you pay your fines in full, write a letter to the court and take a class. This judge did not appear to value equality nor was she professional in her interactions with the people she was serving.

Linda Beloof is not only criminal defense attorney: she is the city judge for Gladstone municipal court. She yells at people, intimidates them, and coerces them to give up their Constitutional rights. I have seen her berate people until they cry. She does not respect the Constitutional rights of defendants, like the 6th Amendment right to effective representation. She regularly violates ethics rules that she would be subject to if she were not only subject to the will of the City Council. She says things like, "I will throw you in jail for contempt if I don't like the look on your face." It is like stylized Kabuki theatre watching her in action. Apparently the City of Gladstone is happy with her performance, because rarely is there a case of dismissed charges or a trial,or leniency for any reason. That nets the city a lot of money. The prosecutor, court appointed attorneys, and judge work in tandem to find guilt. Her court is a civil rights nightmare,a Ferguson for poor white people.

SheDid not follow up on my case for disadility and told me to dropit. I hired another lawyer in wa. And he won my case.for 3years no contact until she wanted money. Do not use this lawyer. She is very incompentent and greedy.

hired her in 2006 to defend a mis, she failed to file paperwork when she was hired which got me into a spot of trouble with the judge he - she then no showed in court 2 times after that for the plea entry which then got me into more trouble with the judge. When she finally arrived she was very unprepared and under-dressed and told me I should just take the plea and nobody would believe me - even though I had taken a lie detector test that was inconclusive and obviously did not show me as guilty and I had witness letters stating my innocence as well as character witness, but she knew I was out of money and could no afford to py her another 3,000. She is not a good attorney, she does not want what is best for you - her client. She is lazy and dishonest. STAY AWAY

This person does not represent the best interests of her court appointed clients by presuming them inoccent until proven guilty. She tells them she doesn't believe them and advises them to plead guilty or to take any plea offered in order to not have to prepare a defense for them. She cares nothing for what pleading guilty will mean to their futures even if they are innocent. For your own well being choose another attorney that WILL represent your best interest. I have found others who endured the same non-representation of their cases by Ms. Beloof.
