Paula started out as very interested in my case where my ex had been criminally charged and my children were in need of protection. She soon began to ignore my messages and was absolutely ineffective in protecting my rights or the rights of my children. She allowed my ex to bully both my children and me and instilled fear in me that if I didn't concede to his narcissistic ways, he would take me to court and he would likely win. I would then likely have to pay costs. Despite repeatedly providing her with texts and emails highlighting his manipulation of my children and their subsequent desire not to communicate with him any longer, she continued to tell me I had to force them to speak to him and see him. I now have a new lawyer and everything has changed. She ensures the children have a voice and has finally defended them from their predatory father. My life is finally more peaceful. Paula didn't care about my kids or me. She wanted the path of least resistance.

She is great if your willing to pay alot of money....she definitely has good connections who bend over backwards for her....she could careless about the children who are at risk....there should be some investigations done in regards to who she is connected with

Does not follow up with opposing council or clients in a timely manner, uses bullying tactics in the courtroom. Very unprofessional.

I highly recommend Paula Bateman to get the job done as efficiently as possible. Unlike other lawyers I've had she didn't waste billable time; she listened, advised and acted in the best interest for me and my child.
