Douglas Valente is, hands down, the worst attorney I have ever met. He gives new definition to the word sleazy--close talker creepy. He disappeared for long, periods of time where he didn't return calls and made several mistakes. Put more effort in buddying up and making nice to the opposing attorney than protecting our interests. We were shocked that he seemed to have little interest-- or knowledge in real estate. Big, big mistake hiring this guy. I spoke to someone else with a similiar experience. On top of everything else he was very unprofessional and had a very foul mouth.
Would I recommend this guy? NO!.
