I made a mistake & needed legal representation. I met with Steve upon the recommendation of someone professionally involved in the “criminal Justice system” who I trusted. I hold a professional license and a criminal conviction threatened my livelihood. Steve presented as very knowledgeable, competent and confident without being arrogant, and I liked that, so I hired him. I had no idea at the time how good a decision that was. He strategized his moves, knowing in advance the response it would illicit from the other side and, in this way, entirely controlled the whole situation throughout -it was like he was playing chess while the prosecutor was playing checkers. Routinely, other lawyers approached Steve in the courthouse for advice on their client’s cases. It was obvious that everybody ELSE knew he was a good lawyer. I didn’t really grasp all the nuances of how or why, but he got my case dismissed with a motion. While he wasn’t “cheap”, he was WELL WORTH EVERY PENNY I PAID HIM

This lawyer gets it DONE! He won't make you any guarantees as to an outcome. The ONLY THING he guaranteed me was his best efforts and that was more than enough. Other defendants were embarrassed by their lawyers after watching my guy do his thing. Make him YOUR GUY-- you won't be sorry!

I was introduced to Mr. Christiansen by my civil attorney as "the go-to criminal defense lawyer in Nassau County". He lived up to his reputation in every respect. He commands the respect of prosecutors and judges alike. I hope I never need him again, but I'm DEFINATELY keeping his number. I highly recommend Steve to anyone who finds themselves charged with a crime.

He knows the law as well as his way around a courtroom. I always knew I was in good hands and that was incredibly comforting. He got me a great outcome for my case. I would highly recommend him.
