Karin has been my lawyer for many years now, I have been more successful in applications and court than not. Why has she been there so long, knowledge of my case and consistency; and family law can go on for a long time. Let's face it, many of the reviews for all the lawyers are based upon emotion. Karin is a good sounding board and may tell you things you don't want to hear. She keeps up on current case law, presents well in court. She (and all lawyers) are expensive and have to run expensive offices. She responds quickly to inquiries and has good support from her partners when she is not available. I scored work quality hard as I am a stickler for details and sometimes the drafts that had to be reviewed required corrections, but that is why the lawyer submits to the clients.

I have to agree with the other reviews. This lawyer, although tenacious, is a huge ripoff. She acts big and scary, but really is nothing more than a bunch of "show" and a bully at heart. She talks out of both sides of her mouth at once--no honesty or integrity whatsoever. For instance, she claims to do what's in a child's best interests, and at the same time, supports her deadbeat dad clients when they starve their kids, abuse them in multiple ways, leave them homeless and without basic necessities of life. And then blames the mom! She is a villain. She has no ethical standards whatsoever. She seems to love watching others suffer. I must admit, though, she is an excellent match for this abusive "deadbeat dad" kind of client and fully supports doing whatever she can to destroy innocent lives of women and children.

This lawyer is horrible. She is all about dragging things out and lying in court. Does not care what is best for the children. Only cares about pulling favours in the court house and filling her bank account.
