This attorney agreed to handle the sale of my house for, he stated, "no more than $1000.00." At the closing, without informing me, he charged me $1,500.00. Afterwards, he refused to answer my calls or agree to a meeting to discuss the $500.00 overcharge. He now claims that my case was so complicated that it caused him to work too hard. The attorney for the buyers, on whom there was placed a much heavier burden, charged the buyers $850.00. Mr. Orseck now threatens me with a law suit if I make this information public!
