Buying a house can be an extremely stressful experience, and in our case, stress was running high when we decided to buy a vacation home located over a two hours’ drive from our primary home in Queens, NY. We both have very busy work schedules and were also facing heavy family demands as Michael’s mother was rapidly declining in health.
