Horrible experience. She was court appointed and just wanted to pick up a check for doing as little as possible. Almost impossible to get in touch with, and when I did she never knew what was going on with my case. She attempted to work out several deals with the prosecution, and each deal was progressively worse than the previous. I almost ended up doing 1and a half to 3 years in state prison. At that point I had gotten the funds to hire a real lawyer.At this point I had already spent 8 months in county jail. The real lawyer was able to have the charges reduced and I was given time served and released. What a nightmare! And she had a nasty disposition to boot. Treated me like a dirt bag, and I was starting to believe that she was working in tandem with the prosecution.
