Atty. Knight was retained to settle a disputed judgment. His approach was to contact the other party and propose a settlement; sounded good but then got a second opinion. This new attorney (never charged me) reviewed the exact same info and advised I need NOT MAKE A SETTLEMENT OFFER as I had a senior Promissory Note to this party's judgment. The PN was more than the sale of my home - so no funds to allocate to the judgment. I asked for a refund of my retainer fee and he refused; even suggested he would sue me for the balance due for his "unproductive/poor quality" representation. AVOID/AVOID/AVOID !!!
