Mr Weiner took a case without notifying the client that he had his name listed on the opposing councils website and had accepted clients from them previously. Needless to say NOTHING was accomplished over a 3 month period other than being billed almost $5,000. When we discovered the "possible" conflict of interest (we were actually advised of it by the other side's client!) we went to small claims court to try and get some of the money returned but we were told WE had to PROVE the conflict of interest and that we were assuming he had a relationship or association with the other side ??????? This might be the LETTER OF THE LAW interpretation but I feel that any attorney with ANY ethics would have been up front prior to being retained or at least been willing to compromise AFTER being caught BUT NOT THIS GUY !!! FOREWARNED IS FOREARMED
