I hired this attorney because she was recommended. I was told she was well respected in the courtroom. When I met with her she informed me that the suit was frivolous and that she would get my ex husband to pay for it in court. She explained she was on my children/my side and would make sure that all the violations would be addressed and she would have ALL her fees reimbursed. She was all talk. She did not get it dismissed, nor get her fees reimbursed (after billing me for almost exactly the $5,000 retainer), WORST of all she let my ex's attorney walk all over her. My children and their lawyer said that they wanted no change in the visitation schedule, she told me I had no choice but to give into my ex's demands. I would have been better served by going to legal aid and keeping my money. She bullied me into signing away things that I did not agree with by telling me that, "I had no choice." It was a horrible experience and I regret ever letting her represent my children and myself.
