avoid at all cost. spent 15k and got nowhere. will never get back to you and will have to chase him down for everything. unprofessional, all about money and will drain you dry. expensive lawyer for nothing done. best thing i did was terminate him and find a new lawyer! he is not a good person.

I used mr guberman for the beginning of my divorce. Once we had a few meetings he and his assistant would never return calls or answer emails. I am talking about months and months of unreturned unanswered emails and messages. Best thing I ever did was find another lawyer.

Guberman will destroy you financially. He will do nothing for you in court..First thing is to declare your assets to know how much he can make from you. He will write endless letters and try to avoid court because your issue will be ruled onWhen he does, he arrives late, diseheveled and unprepared as you remind him f the case. His scheme don't worry about the bill, after 30k and you confront him as he's done nothing, you can't dismiss him because he won't release the file without the money, You are stuck with him until your money runs out. Guberman is the lowest form of life, unethical, immoral and driven by greed.

Chuck has been up front with me from day 1. He is well prepared and owns the moment when it is crucial in court room. He is costly because he is worth it. You get what you pay for. He is efficient and sticks to the task at hand. He is to the point and his tone and pace of speech will have everyone agreeing with his plans. Definately would recommend if you are fighting to protect your children and or you want to move on from divorce in your life. He feels no need to extend any of the process, rather tries to resolve issues as quickly as possible

The man knows his stuff but is too busy with too many clients to apply his knowledge. There is a reoccurring theme here that his MO is to milk as much from the client as possible and unfortunately that is how I felt after 18 months having his representation.

Expensive and does nothing. Took $75,000 for no even two years of work and he did nothing for me in court. Sold my house to pay him off before I could get my file and then was left to represent myself in court. Talks a good game and writes expensive letters; does not prepare for court in critical matters. He looks for any opportunity to create paperwork for billing at over $500 an hour. Will leave you homeless and destitute.

We had an email communication with Mr. Guberman asking a list of questions. After answering we set up a meeting. We met, had a meeting of less than an hour (probably less than 30 minutes, hard to recall) and then retained him with a 500 deposit in the event we needed him. Never did need his services and after more than two years received a bill of almost 200 dollars, deposit gone, for "services rendered." We never expected the 500 back though we never needed his services, but to get an additional bill years later with NO contact whatsoever is rather insulting. Ratings all 1 as nothing was done, and no information was provided that we didn't already know and was easily accessible via simple internet searches. Value/services provided extremely low.

Charles accomplished in under 12 months what 3 lawyers couldn't in 7. He got me MEP enforced child support, reduced my abusive exes visitation to 2 visits supervised per week, and he's very blunt but kind. He is a knowledgeable, nice, strategist who is very busy but gets things done. He is not cheap, but worth every penny if you want what's right for your children. He owns the court room, love the guy!

Stay away from Guberman. He will ruin your life as his only mission is the 'almighty dollar'. He will smile in your face and (just the opposite) behind your back He would even lie on the stand. I had him in family law and he succeeded to leave my life in ruination.

Charles Guberman accomplished in 1 year what 3-4 other lawyers couldn't in 7! He got me child support, protected my son from an abusive ex by getting supervised visits, and was very communicative throughout. A kind, highly intelligent lawyer, with a good sense of humour. I recommend him to all!

I originally gave Charles a great rating after my initial dealings with him. A year ago, he just had to file the divorce documents. Not a tall order, no court appearances, no meetings with the opposition, just file the papers. I have been trying to contact him through email, through his assistant and through the front reception for the past year. Won't return any of my calls, or emails neither does his assistant. I'm sorry that I ever recommended him to anyone at this point. I just want a divorce.

Charles is the best divovrce lawyer I have had, over the years it's been a nightmare trying to find a llawyer that doesn't take advantage of the situation.
