Len Fishman is an excellent and brilliant attorney, and I would know, as my divorce took almost 5 years to complete. I used Len Fishman after a horrific experience with another law firm that ripped me off, his counsel was invaluable. When going through my recent divorce from my cheating wife, I contacted a good friend of mine for his advise. The friend has recommended a family law lawyer, LEN FISHMAN, who is a member of our Winnipeg Jewish community. Fishman has a downtown office (on Broadway Avenue), of where he works with his long-time partner, Terry Beley, and his young son, Noah Fishman. From the get-go Len Fishman was rude, impatient, greedy and I will always regret doing so, as when my case ended the wife kept the house in Tuxedo, in addition to half our cabin in Winnipeg Beach and the new BMW that I bought her out of my inheritance money (from my Baba) not long before our divorce. What a shyster, greedy and unethical, lawyer! Len Fishman has done nothing to help my situation, and I now know I am not his only disappointed client!! If you have retained him fire him today and ask for him to send you the remainder of the retainer. he will do his best to convince you that he can get the job done but he drags things out because that is how he makes him money...drag bill drag bill.

I was loosing faith in lawyers from a terrible past experience until I searched for a new council & came across Len. He was knowledgeable, confident & gave me helpful guidance in my custody battle. He fought for me & won. I'm extremely thankful for his expertise & for giving me peace of mind. He's expensive bu worth it!!!!

He is very expensive and did not do a very good job. We did a property assessment at least 4 times when nothing changed. He did not fight for me, letting my ex's lawyer run the show. When I asked about fighting for joint custody he told me "You have to be patient", I was paying him to fight for me and he did not do it. I would not recommend him to any one.

This lawyer gave me the run around for 3 years and then didn't do the one thing I stressed to him needed to be done to protect me. He helped my partner take advantage of me because of his passive demeanor and refusal to get aggressive regardless of how uncooperative my parter was being. He was ridiculously expensive and could never remember what was going on in my case. He was also rude and condescending; although I could've dealt with that had he been even remotely competient. My life is irrevocably damaged now due to his forgetfulness and apparent lack of competency. Stay away

I would not recommend this lawyer. He has a poor memory and doesn't follow through with his promises. I also found him to over charge and then get pissy if you question him. I wish I would have checked out his reputation before retaining him.

If he takes your case he will fight for you..He wrote wrongs done to me in my divorce in regards to spousalsupport.A fabulous man, knowledgeable.

This man has no patience with dealing with smaller cases where it's a fairly cut-dry divorce. He lied about the costs saying emails were free and phone conversations under 6 minutes were also free. I was charged twice the projected cost by the end. It took a month for him to answer any email.

Although very intelligent, Mr.Fishman has a very short memory or he just enjoys playing games.(having you sit in his office while he types up your affidavit requesting the same information over and over again) Great stall tactic! More billing hours! I recommend that you review your bills very carefully.
