Do NOT go anywhere near this firm especially Waxman. They destroyed my life. Waxman and his associate sat and said nothing as Sun Life declined my claim because they said I “used the wrong form to apply”. And when I proved that I did indeed use the form they said was correct, he still sat silent and did not in any way question the stupidity of this whole concept. Even the company’s general info says they’ll just have you fill out the correct form. I had been diagnosed with peripheral neuropathy and Waxman couldn’t seem to recall even that simple fact. Of course no matter what happens you have to take whatever pittance the insurance company offers because as Waxman kept reminding me it takes 5 years to appeal to a real court. The whole thing was so stupid he had to be getting some kind of payoff. For 35 years I paid into extended benefits through employers and Waxman destroyed everything I had ever worked for. And there is no recourse available, so they get away with it.

I often see Lawyer commercials on TV and never understood the point. Now having had 3 concussions in a year and my life turned upside down.... I totally understand and appreciate their value! Aaron Waxman and Associates has been a great firm to deal with. They are amazing at responding to my questions, and explain things so i understand. The biggest win for me was having a firm who could navigate the system for me, as many people do not know how to do that. They were always on top of things, pushed things along and found me help/specialists/assessments when i needed it. They were truly professional and responsive. I would totally hire them again (but hopefully I will never need to!)

I believe they should have gotten me more my LTD claim. They string you along for 3 years. And then bang they want to settle. I'm kicking myself now because I wish I rejected their offer and went to court. I know I would have gotten more there. The whole system is corrupted. they string you along for 3 years and then bang. Here an offer, take it or leave it. All these people want is for you to go bankrupt,Waxmen should be there to protect you. and Waxman throws in the towel to early. Not overly impressed.

An insurance company is a business, as is a lawyer. Keep in mind that accountability will begin with ourselves, and in most cases End with ourselves. The Waxman team was straight forward and communicated well with me. They were able to deal with My situation in a timely fasion, which was more important to my well being than the "bottom line". The cost is high, but the ability to move forward is much more valuable. I would recommend this team.

Spoke to Aaron on the phone. In my opinion he is the worst lawyer I have ever dealt with. He barely spent 2 minutes with me on the phone began interrupting me and making suggestions to call other people before I could even explain my situation. He said I cant help you and he barely heard one tenth of my situation.I would never recommend him to anyone.

Not great firm. Messy office (for real). They are not customer service/ client oriented. I talked and met with one of the firm lawyer. Whole conservation was vague at best. I emailed and asked for further details on risk and likelihood success of case. What am I looking at in term of risk and such. Lawyer refusing to explain in clear detail and felt offended instead and dismissed me. Which is like universe is giving me answer I am seeking. A good lawyer would explain his or her plan for your case in clear details and why you should hire her or him. I don't see anything wrong with that but if that can't be done then they are not good lawyers.
Reactive lawyer is not what I am looking for.

I was in a tough spot with my insurance company. I didn't know what to do anymore. I heard Mr. Waxman's ad on the radio and took a chance and contacted him and I don't regret it. First of all, the receptionist is very nice and lovely to deal with! Mr. Waxman was really patient while I explained my situation and how I didn't know how I would manage with my long-term disability benefits being cut off. He managed to get my case settled relatively quickly with a great result and I can't thank him enough!

We went to this firm for help dealing with an HRT issue. The lawyer that dealt with our case was inexperienced and to be honest....useless. We didn't realize until it was too late that she was completely ignorant of the HRT process. She neglected to present an initial settlement amount, she literally said NOTHING during the hearing and seemed completely lost. They bank on the minimum HRT settlement that they know will be offered and just sit back and collect their percentage for doing absolutely nothing. How do you think they pay for all those ads! Seriously, we would have been better off going it alone.

I have read many good reviews about Mr Waxman, maybe I talked to him when he was having a very bad day!! He sounded not interested in my case, wouldn't even let me finish a sentence. Then told me how he already gave me enough free time and hung up on me!!! I found later a lady lawyer who LISTENED to me and took my case, 2 months later I got approved. She said, if had given you one more minute, he would have taken your case. His loss was her gain and I was super happy she got it.
