I submitted paperwork 5/8/17.On 6/5, after no updates, I called to see if there’s a case. Megan states Simons was still looking at the paperwork. I called back on 6/2,to see if I had a case.Megan states they were unclear on a couple of documents.I verbally clarified & supplied the documents the same day via fax. I again asked if there was a case. Megan states that she had not received the documents and didn’t know if Simons had time to take my case.I said, “4 weeks passed and you can’t tell me if I have a case, and that this firm may not even be able to represent me?” She said in a rudely,“Ma’am I had a family emergency, come pick up your paperwork, & hung up.4 weeks with no movement has been devastating.This firm’s first point of contact Megan, is a extremely unprofessional and rude.What’s troubling is this was not her first time being rude.I overlooked the first incident and double retainer other lawyers secure due to the fact that Atty Simons was recommended by another law group.
